We interrupt this broadcast with some breaking news! I’m your news caster, PF, and I won’t be taking up much of your time here today. Recently, a virus has been released into the city by yours truly. No matter what precautions you take to avoid it, the virus is already rampant and its effects will soon be felt. It’s only a matter of time now until the people you love turn on you and this city. 

Stay inside if you like, but it won’t do you much good - the infected will do whatever it takes to get in. The fear you feel will be enough to keep the fire blazing for ages more. That’s all. Good luck and stay sober.

A certain extremist who’s totally not Caliborn has unleashed a virus into the city. The virus’s effects are not unlike Homestuck’s tricksters, but all roleplayers will be able to determine the exact results. We’re so excited to see what comes of this chaotically fun event!

This is Yuletide, coming to you once again to announce the official start of the blizzard. This month you’ll experience a few inconveniences - shut down of public roads, malfunctions of cybernetics, disruptions to the net, and depending on your situation, maybe not even electricity, water or heat. This season is gonna be a good one, but I’ll let the machine do the talking from now on. See you this New Year, Imperia!

we finna be salting the roads the next few days so we still able to go out when the forecasted blizzard hands r asses to us. the city it gonna cover all the nice ass streets, so if u want ur street salted and u live in the slums, or that shitty apartment place beside it, u gon have to pay for the workers to come to that side, and they gon do it if they have enough salt. dont bother my workin boys or you aint gonna have the luxury of going nowhere til we see the sun again

Oh, Miss Crockercorp, you really are dumber than you look if you think you’re going to stop the blizzard with some salt. You really think I would create a nuclear winter device and not research every single tactic that you would use to stop me? Please.

This isn’t your normal snow, sweetheart. This is my own concoction with all the devastating effects of a blizzard and none of the weaknesses.

So salt all the roads you want, do whatever you need to help yourself fall asleep at night. But this event only ends when I say it ends.

ATTENTION ALL IMPERIA CITIZENS: [Event lasts DEC. 1 to JAN. 1]

This is Yuletide speaking, and I’m here to send a message. For years, Crockercorp has controlled and oppressed the people of this city, and the so-called rebels have done nothing but cause slight disruptions in their business while they continue to take advantage of us. I want to see some real change.

I have a nuclear device which will cause a snowstorm for the entire month of December. We’re talking a shut down of public streets, malfunctioning cybernetics and tech, overall just major interruptions to net connection. I want every single person in this city to reflect on themselves this holiday season, learn something from being stuck just like everyone in this awful city.
