on my first date with my beloved, we went to the MET in New York and at the armor section they pointed out a knight glove making a fist and they said that it was for fencing and I replied "I thought it was to jack off the other knights" and I laughed so hard at my own joke I had a cataplexy attack in their arms while they held me and kept me from dropping to the floor like a ragdoll. let’s just say the second date was secured

hot artists don't gatekeep
I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard
Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.
Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.
Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.
Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.
SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.
SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.
Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.
Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.
Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.
Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.
Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

seeing likes from mutuals gives me way more of a fuzzy feeling than a random post of mine going "viral" ever could

This drawing is late to the game, the line work is crude, but the FOMO is still real.

Say what you want about free drawing programs, I have been surprisingly satisfied with Krita.
This was my first attempt at digital painting and I’m quite happy with how it turned out. Of course, the no text version is better as the version with glittery text is overkill but hey it’s fun and would make for a heckin great post card in my opinion.
Gigi is my friend’s very sweet cat. This picture was inspired by a photo he sent me of her sniffing and pawing at some lilacs.
Obligatory this post was not sponsored by Krita!

WIP for friend. Inspired by multitude of many colored roses at the Portland International Test Gardens.
It’s sloppy, but I’ll be applying a lens blur since it’s just background. Do not pay any attention to the unsightly pink globs (unfinished flowers) near the center, they will be soon be covered with foreground objects.

A silly drawing I did a few weeks ago after I got caught in the rain. 美女 (bijo) means “pretty woman” and びしょびしょ (bisho bisho) is the onomatopoeia for “drenched”. I was walking downtown while talking to a friend, who also speaks Japanese, on the phone when it suddenly started raining. Of course, I had no raincoat or umbrella and when I told him this, without skipping a beat he said the above phrase, and I said “I must draw this” and so here we are.
