The launcher

Now we're working on a good launcher for UBO2 to install the game with ease. 

What is done: 

you can install UBO2 on Windows 32bit and 64bit 

the installer shows the progress of the installation 

it checks if there is a new version and downloads it automatically before playing 

the brand new look of the launcher: icons, buttons and colors. 

To do: 

to prepare the installer for Mac (we need a Mac computer to build the package). 

We spent about 2 hours to do this and we are proud of it. Unfortunately, the launcher won’t be available on Linux, because the game didn't work on it so well.

UBO2 Score system

Become the best in UBO2! Just finish the highest level you can in the shortest time. Easy, huh? Check the new scoreboard to compete with your friends!

This week we finished the scoreboard system, what took us about 5 days.

What we did:

The scoreboard is just a simple MySql database. MySQL is installed on our Ubuntu server. To make the connection to the database secure we developed the API in Node.js.

We wasted some time trying to fix stupid mistakes with Unity API requests, but currently it’s working quite smoothly

Now the scoreboard list looks like this:
