I don't think I've ever really been the type of person to be wistful or sentimental at the end of the year (or make a lot of textposts here), but I just wanted to write a little thing because this year felt special

This was a big year for me, a lot of things happened; good things, bad things, hard things, unexpected things, going on a 24-hour whirlwind trip to see the McElroy Brothers live-type things

To stand here where I am now at the end of the year and look at back at where I started it is absolutely wild. Everything has been so busy and impermanent and ever-changing. It's been filled with so many things that for one of the first times in my life I feel like I've truly lived an entire year

I've laughed more than ever, been depressed and stressed out, crossed off dream goals, grew more in love with the person I'm slowly becoming, built a little life of my own, and got really into two specific vampire-themed campaigns from comedy TTRPG podcasts, which is honestly not a thing I thought would be on my 2024 bingo card but has brought me such immense joy that I wouldn't have it any other way

So thank you 2024, it's been the wildest ride. Sign me up for the next trip around the sun, 2025 let's go
