Gretchen had her eyes glued to her magazine, the December issue of Vogue with Phoebe Waller-Bridge on the cover. Nothing was quite more important to her than catching up on her recreational reading outside her favorite cafe that evening, as she hadn’t quite found the time after finals. When she hear Anna’s trilling voice, however, her eyes snap up to devote full attention, like a bird paying attention to everything that moves.

She does not exactly get the hype with all the Christmas decorations, however, “My family’s Jewish,” Gretchen grew a pleasant smile, as if this were rich information Anna absolutely needed to know, “If you like it though, that’s fine! Just, yknow, it might not be so fetch to everyone.”
