• Robin 'Slightly' McGinnis • Lost Boy • Age Unknown • Thomas Brodie-Sangster
Start your life in the middle of the jungle...
Robin ‘Slightly’ Mcginnis was born in the Enchanted Forest to traveling musician parents. They traveled all over the country and rather than having a small child to drag in tow they often left him in the care of relatives; passing him from one family to the next. They would come and visit him, but it would only be for a few short days and they were gone for sometimes a month or more at a time. It was here that the seed of rejection started to take root.
As Robin grew, so did his resentment of his parents. As far as he was concerned he had no family, no one that gave truly gave two shits about him. His only escape was in his music or in his dreams where he would visit a magical world called Neverland. His only friend, a boy he had met in his dreams. The boy’s name was Peter Pan.
It didn’t really click that Peter wasn’t what he seemed to be, nor the world he figured was just all a figment of his imagination. Robin was just a young kid who found someone who seemed to understand him and wanted to be his friend. Robin hungered for Peter Pan’s friendship. It was extremely painful to wake up again and again thrust back into the real world where he knew he didn’t belong.
Robin continued to visit Neverland long into his teenage years. The longer he dreamed the more he became discontented with his own world and wanted out. It was not a healthy situation to be sure. And by then, Robin was treated by the townfolks as ‘slightly’ an oddball - a boy who lived in dreams and got into more trouble leading other town boys astray with their shenanigans and mischievous misadventures.
When the time came, Slightly was only too eager to leave this world behind for a better one. It didn’t take long for him to adapt to Neverland being a real place and Peter, the boy he trusted and come to feel a deep devotion towards was not just a hope and a prayer of his own making. It was a dream come true - he supposed he had always known deep down that he would end up there. Maybe he was dead and this was heaven - either way, he didn’t care. He was where he wanted to be and that was heaven enough for him.
Personality:
+ Witty, Sharp, Observant, Clever, Sneaky - Constant Fear of Abandonment, Blunt, Over-Adventurous, Tactless!

Come Away Update:
Hello all! Instead of moving forward with a group plot from months ago that killed the muse in me, allow me to make a brief update on the island.
***
Where we left off…
Hook had been abducted by the witch and made a dark deal; when he came out from under her spell, the captain learned that the brief moments spent with the woman had actually been many months. She was pregnant with his child, and claimed that it was one of the last pieces that she needed to reset the Neverland, and to rid the island of all of the travelers that had found home on its shores.
Hook and Pan were beginning to set their feud aside to rally their forces to stop the wicked witch. They knew they’d need the help of all peoples on the land and sea to bring down the woman and stop the destruction of the home they loved.
What conspired…
From pirates to lost boys, to wandering souls, to the merfolk and pixies, and even the rare witches and natives, the inhabitants of Neverland were able to stop the witch from fulfilling her dark wishes. Instead of sacrificing the new baby, Peter’s closest companion fairy, the scales of a sweet mermaid, and the totem of the late Indian chief, the witch was convinced to bury herself into the eldest tree on the island, where all life therein is said to have begun. It was she that needed to be reset, to once again become the caretaker that the Neverland had created her to be.
What’s next…
Deep in the Neverwood, the witch of the island is rejuvenating in sleep. Time will only tell what she will become, and what will happen without her meddling.
Peter and Hook’s truce has come to an end, though each have grown a slight respect for the other. It is doubtful that it will last, but one can hope.
Tinkerbell, returned to Peter without her wings, as lost the power of Fairy magic. Her pixie dust remains, but she has been forced to live as a full sized human fairy, and is growing accustomed to being back among the lost boys.
The majority of the merfolk, though still mistrusting the pirates, seem a bit more curious with human life, having joined forces to help rescue their beloved island. Perhaps their new moon strolls will be more popular now that they’ve seen what the humans can do together.
Whatever happens next, the island seems content. Shall we have an adventure now, or would you like to have your tea first?
I lost track of time and really lost my groove, and I’m so sorry if anyone was getting excited to write about this plot :( If you have any closed rps you’d like to post on what your character did during the plot timeline, feel free to share! Hope to be writing with you all again very soon! <3

• Seraphina • Mermaid • Age Unknown • Gina Rodriguez
Although raised by a mer that taught all of her daughters to despise anything that walked on two legs full time, Seraphina is not as callous as some of her watery sisters. She is wary of the pirates, and with good reason, but curiosity has always been a close companion to her fear. She’s watched men from afar her entire life, and only really drew close to the children. Despite their pranks and dirty feet, they are the only humans she trusts.
There was once a time where this curious creature took up the moon’s gift and shed her tail to spy on the pirate port. She dressed in a thin garment that she’d found in a trunk at the bottom of the sea and slipped into a pub. A heavily tattooed man bought her a drink and spent most of the evening trying to get her to go away with him, but after he’d grown tired of her resistance, left her at the bar. Another pirate, with hands sewn on backwards approached her, and wasn’t as willing to give up, persisted she come with him. Buzzing with the drinks and the stories the man was telling her, she decided to follow him out towards the sea. When his dark intentions were made clear, something snapped in Sera, and she used her siren song to make him enter the water, never to return. Mercy clutched her, and she allowed him to trudge out of the sea and fall asleep under a palm tree, and she slipped away into the night, vowing to never trust a pirate again.
Most days Seraphina lounges in the lagoon, creating bubbles for the Lost Boys, or listening to their daring tales of fortune and fancy. She ignores the words of caution from her sisters, knowing she can take care of herself. A part of her aches to feel as though she belongs somewhere in this wild world of wonder.
Personality:
+ Curious, Adaptable, Kind
- Hot-tempered, Overconfident, No Filter

Holokai || Mer/Selkie || Age Unknown || Jason Momoa
Oh, my dear son, we've got to get to the sea…
Kai was a mistake, or so his mother had often reminded him growing up. She added that he was a happy mistake, but when you’re little, and your parent tells you that you were never meant to happen, it sticks with you. For many years, he didn’t know much about his father; the only things he did know were what his mother told him, (‘you look just like him, Holokai’), and the strangely marked tail he’d gotten from the man. It wasn’t at all like his sister’s tails, with their lovely, shimmering scales, but instead was all one texture, and soft. He didn’t have fins like the rest, but what looked more like flippers. And when he was eighteen, his mother told him the truth. His father had been a rogue Selkie that had enticed his mother to go to bed on one full moon. Just like that, everything seemed to become clearer to Kai, and he grew into his new identity. He was more confident, and like his Selkie ancestors, he was able to shed his seal skin and walk among the humans whenever he desired. Despite being raised to hate the humans in the port, Holokai couldn’t resist, his Selkie blood pulling him to the women in town. Many of the pirates take Kai as one of them, assuming he’s one of Hook’s men; he knows many of the townsfolk, though isn’t close to anyone. He’s built a shack by the pier where he sells the freshest and biggest seafood to maintain his ever growing tab at Mulligan’s.
Personality:
+ Outgoing, Friendly, Easygoing
- Careless, Impulsive, Reckless

ooc name/alias: Isobel
preferred pronouns: she/her
Age: 20
Character: Kristofer “Fitz” Fitzpatrick
sample para (5-7 sentences, third person, in character, please!):
Fitz knew how to skin an animal alive without it making a sound, a skill he had picked up in home #9. It wasn’t so much that he cared about subtlety — it didn’t matter how subtle he was, when he knew he’d be sent away sooner or later — but he enjoyed the prolongation of suffering granted by keeping his victim alive and making sure no adults would hear him and intervene. He wasn’t completely cruel, of course, and he would kill it when he was finished, but there was something so thrilling about it, especially when he figured out how to muffle the animal’s cries. It was the same basic technique as with pirates, he had discovered, whenever they wandered a little too far from the port at night. It wasn’t that he hunted them, per se, but he discovered early on that he could usually count on one of them wandering alone on nights he felt restless and angry. It provided a small sense of relief to his burning, screaming mind, a small satisfaction for his insatiable rage. Although he knew that lingering any longer than necessary would increase his chances of getting caught, he only wished he could stay to witness and savor the reactions of the other pirates when they found his handiwork.

Hi! Are you guys still active/open?
Hello! Sorry this has taken so long to reply! We are still open! Semi active, but due to a recent move and some personal life shenanigans, we have not been on regularly. As things calm down with fall approaching, we should be on more! Come to Neverland!

• Peter Pan • Lost Boy • Age Unknown • Jeremy Sumpter
We are the reckless, we are the wild youth…
Although looked up to by his band of Lost Boys (he still calls them the Lost Boys, though a few girls have fallen under his command), Peter is not always one to be trusted. He’s apt to forget you if you’re not around constantly, and won’t apologize for any irresponsibility on his part. Life’s a game, and he’s always ready to play. While the once beloved Wendy lies somewhere in the recesses of his mind, Peter pretends he never knew her. Peter is so good at playing pretend, that one never knows what he thinks is a game, and what is real life. His crew doesn’t mind though; they have to not mind, or they might find themselves killed off, or worse, banished.
The history of Pan and Hook is a long and violent one, starting from the first time the captain came to the Neverland. While Peter chooses to believe that the captain is only after him for taking his hand, the boy has taken much more from Hook than that. He is responsible for the death of Hook’s wife, and on a whim, Peter had convinced the pirate’s daughter to come be a lost boy. After banishing Birdie for growing too old, he forgot about her; just as he forgot about Mary Hook, the first person that had wanted to be a mother to him.
He taunts the old codfish relentlessly, unwilling to admit that he ever did the man any wrong, believing he had every right to take his hand (while in reality, James had been giving him a lesson in swordsmanship at the time). Pan is free as a bird, although there is an ache inside of him, as though there is something much bigger that he is missing out on. While Peter is normally good natured, there is a darkness that lies behind his eyes. Cross him, and there’ll be hell to pay.
Personality:
+ Adventurous, Excitable, Friendly
- Careless, Selfish, Irrational
Peter Pan is OPEN!

The Battle:
The skies are gray, and there is a chilled whisper the wind carries over the island. The port is unusually quiet, everyone working on projects or baking or making sales. A sound cuts through the silence, clear as a bell. A loud crow breaks the skin of false calm, followed by a raucous crashing through the woods. Whoops and howls and war cries as a dozen painted lost boys and girls emerge from the forest wielding swords and daggers and clubs.
They come to rescue the ones trapped in the prison; they come for blood.
