Sweet Lady and Pampered Friend
Pampered Friend
Some progress shots of the pampered friend piece and above the completed version.
It took loooong time to complete the peacock's tail which forms the whole backdrop. Half way through it, I was a bit apprehensive about how it is going to turn out, but it worked out ok in end, I think... Also wanted to do a girl in saree for long time, it felt right to do it here. Thought process behind Be music and make merry
Be music and make merry! Because, musician or not we all enjoy music in all forms, be one with it, dancer or not swing a hip or two to our favourite tune, and to be honest, in these times we all need to create bit of happiness in our and other's lives, don't you think?
Making paper cut illustrations is my one of the favourite things and this was specially a fun piece to do, with all beautiful, bright colours, ( I started this after a not so serious but prolonged sickness, and was bored and that is why I think I went all out with colours!). I had no pre-fixed idea what it was about or where it was heading, I just went where the idea organically grew.
It is available in all sort of prints like photography print, art board ( my fav!), framed print, along with other products. A very colourful addition to your home, I hope it will add bit of joy t o your daily life as it it did to mine! You will find them all here:
