what are your character’s goals? do they have any present allegiances?

Kai's true allegiance is only ever to himself and whoever happens to be the most entertaining (or useful) option at present. Since escaping the prison world and undergoing his recent transformation into a heretic, he is currently allied to Katherine and her goals for convenience sake. We'll see how long that lasts.

have you altered anything about your character’s canon?

Now that he can channel his own magic, he doesn't need to merge with Jo (or any of his siblings) and can destroy the Gemini coven at his leisure. Would he still like to merge and gain loads of power while proving that he deserved his birthright from the start? Obviously. He's not sure what happens to the rest of the coven if an undead guy becomes their leader. Kinda hoping they all croak as a result. If not, he'll help speed up the process. :)
