Surprise!! Lol two Coday Bingo fills in one day, and the final one a day early.

Here's the thing, I'm opening at work tomorrow and it'll be easier to go ahead and post this now than trying to do it in the morning lol. So please enjoy my fill for the 'AU' square.

Pictured above is Cody from my restaurant au, wherein Jango steals the wee CC's and runs to Coruscant where he opens a small Mando restaurant in Little Keldable. The sign in the back is one that was handmade by Jango himself, reading, essentially, don't be a (fucking) idiot. Fucking is in parenthesis because it is implied. A very important maxim in a kitchen when you have seven (7) sons.

Who's ready for day two of Merlyn's Coday Bingo fills??

Here's The Man, The Myth, The Legend himself once again, fill for "It's--It's Commander Cody with a steel chair!".

The prompt was too perfect not to just take it at face value, so please have a very literal Commander Cody with a steel chair. It's what he deserves. It's what the pain in the ass natborn Naval officers and Senate scum he deals with deserve. It's what we deserve.

Also--my friends and fellow Romans, you will I am sure notice that our dear Marshal Commander has been drawn on a transparent background. I am giving you standing permission (and in fact, encouragement) to take full advantage of this. Who's he swinging the chair at? It's up to you to decide! All I ask is that you tag me. I would very much like to see him turn into the meme he deserves to be.

HAPPY CODY DAY 🎉🎉🎉

I chose to do CoDay Bingo (courtesy of @clonehavensotm) in order to observe this auspicious occasion, so I will be posting one art piece a day over the next few days with five in total.

My first bingo square is below, fill for Coruscant.

Cody is enjoying the balcony of his new apartment post-war, even with the never-ending glow of the neon lights. It's not much, but it's his. He even got himself a little plant to celebrate. It's glued down so it can't get knocked over, because Cody's nothing if not excellent at contingency planning.

Where do I get a bingo card? Get your bingo card here!

Where and when do I post? You're welcome to start posting whenever! If you want something to be reblogged here, feel free to tag us. Also feel free to add your works to this collection run by one of our mods.

As mentioned in the collection description, we might close that collection a couple of months after 2/2/24, so you may take that as a vague deadline for ao3 works, and we'll only reblog works here until the end of February.

What am I allowed to create? Anything at all, as long as Cody is the focus! Fics, art, gifsets, vids, headcanons and everything else with no minimum word counts or anything. The purpose of this bingo is just to get you to make something about Cody!

Can I swap squares/prompts? The bingo is meant as a challenge for anyone that wants it to be a challenge, but if you see a perfect set of prompts, you're welcome to swap squares to turn it into a bingo!

Can I combine prompts in one fic/art piece? Yes! You're allowed to combine as much as you want.

May I use an existing work to fill a prompt? You're welcome to post a continuation of an existing work (like a new chapter for a fic), but it would be fun if you create something new with the prompts in mind.

Yes! You're allowed to swap squares around or even make up some other prompts for yourself, if you want.

This is a very casual event that I wanted to run just to provide people with some prompts without making it restrictive during this busy time of year. You're welcome to take the bingo as a challenge, but you're also welcome to use it as inspiration for your own thing!
