Have you ever been into a situation where it feels like everything is just so overwhelming? Whateves. I get it:)
HERE ARE SOME EFFECTIVE WAYS I DO TO KEEP MYSELF TOGETHER:
1.Meditation: Just take your five or 10 minutes to get your phone out of your hand! Find a place where it is comfortable to sit or to just lay down. Meditation honestly helps me to shift my focus into my breathing and to take those negative thoughts away. Not only that, this will takes practice (SHH I KNOW) but it also helps me to be present and not to worry constantly about something that is not here yet, THE FUTURE.

2. Exercise: Don't even begin me with this. It is true! working out and sweating it out really helps you to become more productive, declutter your thoughts, boosts your confidence and it gives you a positive energy after theEee sessh! In my case? It WORKS OUT! So get your ass up, NOW. It does not have to be a full 2 hours of leg day! Taking yourself into a 15-20 minutes of a workout routine is a good start.
3. Journaling: Heartbroken? Sad? Angry? Why-on-earth-does-it-have-to-be-always-me? . I got you!!! A pen and a notebook or just a piece of paper is gonna be your bestfriend here. Writing out your thoughts kinda give that sense of release after bursting out specially for someone that is not just comfortable to let it all out or if you basically have no one to talk to.
You know sometimes, some days are just better than the other days and here you go you just found yourself crying, AGAIN. We're going to be realistic here. Not everyone can understand you and so taking my time to reflect and answer what's with my WHY'S on a paper helps.
When I feel down, angry or sad and can't figure out what's wrong.. I write and express it on a paper and just be honest about what I'm feeling. It usually gives me a perspective, clarity, and a better understanding to what my real problems are.
By writing out your emotions you maybe surprise yourself that "oh this feeling is more than just anger". You were a lot more than angry. You may also be hurt, offended, jealous, and all those kind of things. Having a blank canvas for expression helps you manage your emotions into more manageable ways and get to work on the parts that you don't like.
4. Outdoorsy Activities: Sitting and probably staring at the ceiling for 24 hours sounds suffocating. Have yourself a time out! Take yourself to a walk with nature or explore a new restaurant. It can also sound like grocery shopping!
5. Allow yourself to wallow: It maybe someone's death, You got your heartbroken to someone you dearly love, or you had a huge fight with your parents and said knife words that shouldn't be said out of anger..
It is okay not to be okay.
Don't hold everything in by yourself. Let yourself be vulnerable. Allow yourself to feel emotions and cry as much as you need. Yes, you got people thats gonna say "oh you're too weak for that". Don't listen to them and take time to acknowledge what you actually feel cause if you not, all of those pent up emotions will burst at one point and it leaves you feeling like it is end of the fucking world.
But never get tired to pick yourself up:D
Note: These are all my opinions. I cannot say that this is gonna work for everyone because the said "ways" are really personal!
