So I made a funny animatic ( it is posted below this post )

So I have decided to add in another character to Nash's story, who will be a bit of an ass to him. This is Tero Chasen, son of Howard and Lisha and half-brother to Nash and Agnes. A year younger than Nash.

No one knows that his father is in fact Howard due to how well Howard covers it up and for him to being using his grandfather's (on Lisha's side) last name.

Despite this, Tero knew his half-brother was Nash after his father's early retirement from being a hunter. He does train Tero but it lessened as people around Aakahn were asking if he would have Nash step up. Thus began a resentment Tero formed towards Nash that never went away. As he saw how bad Nash was, when it came to training as a hunter. It took away many days with his father and he was left training himself until he returned.

As they got older and Nash worked at the library and Half-blood stables, Tero would often mock Nash a lot. Citing he was doing pathetic work and hanging around with low-life half-bloods. He Tok pride in knowing he was excelling in becoming a full hunter while Nash took care of the scraps. (in his words)

Despite his hatred and spiteful attitude to Nash, he loves spending time Agnes and his younger brother Harvey. He doesn't hold resentment to Agnes as she just lost her mom and never got to meet her. Happily going along with the white lie (That Lisha and Howard made) that they are full blood siblings.

He often hangs around with Tony and Sparky, and they have a great friendship. Seeing the younger man as on their level and one who'd make even Lady Cerci proud. Also, they would often tease Nash as well (For them it's light teasing but for Tero it's not.) starting up the nickname, Nashy. Which often annoyed Nash but he ignored it. However, he was left wondering why Tero always picked on him, since he'd never interacted with him beforehand.

Then we get to Gator boys story and the picture below has a bit of blood and brotherly angst, so fair warning but that and the story will be below ^^

Tero encounters Nash and Timmy in Silverben, when his snare, traps Timmy. The two argue, with Nash telling Tero to leave Timmy alone and Tero gets defensive thinking Nash was stealing his catch to impress Howard.

Timmy gets confused but tries to defend Nash, which then makes Tero spill the beans that Nash works with the hunters. Putting the half-bloods in stables in their place, giving them false hope and trying to be nice then turning the next. Even shoving and grabbing Nash's tooth necklace and trying to get Nash to explain what it means for a hunter. Nash again tries to get him to stop but he tells Timmy himself.

Telling that a tooth necklace means you've killed a half-blood and wear it's tooth/claw as a trophy. Even showing his necklaces that have four teeth. In turn making Timmy question in disbelief and betrayal if Nash really killed a half-blood. Which landed with Tero getting punched in the face after he said Nash did so without remorse. Nash telling him to shut up as he didn't know what he went through but then Tony and Sparky pinned Nash down and soon tied him up after Tero gave a twisted version of the previous events.

They leave with Timmy and Tero stays behind to taunt Nash one last time. Revealing they were in fact half-brothers and how he was sick of how their father favored someone as weak as Nash. Citing he belonged in the swamp with the freaks and was no William. Nash was in denial about the two being brothers but he snaps that the Gator folk treated him better than anyone in Aakahn and that all he wanted was a family that loved him for him.

Thus Tero just laughed and called Nash nothing more than a disappointment and burden before slicing Nash's cheek and a chunk of his ear with his spear. Tero states he was always better then him and before leaving states he'll take good care of Timmy, but won't make any promises if he dies in the arena. Leaving Nash bleeding and experiencing a bad anxiety attack.

So yep, that's Tero. Feel free to punch him ^^

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it's been a huge while since I posted something.

I am not dead :"" D (hope so). I just had TOO MUCH to do in a short amount of time (no offense, but fuck school, exams and personal problems, I too exhausted at the end of the year)

BUT, I am back and not empty-handed. I made a huge animatic gift for my friend for Christmas. I can't share this work with him yet (come on, I still have to wait a couple of weeks). So I want to share it with someone (that's why it's here))

Mixed Signals

A short story for Stuck with your High school bully.

(Takes place during high school as Ray yoinks Myles away from soccer practice.)

“Hey, Four-eyes been meaning to ask you, what's with you and soccer practice?”

Ray had taken the lead as he guided Myles to one of his home rooms. It was a typical day for Myles, one where he went to school, got picked on by Ray and his group, and got dragged away to help the teenager get an answer sheet for the next big test. It was always around his soccer practice, when he was in the locker room and Ray would be standing around the lockers. After a while, Myles knew he’d either be grabbed by the shirt or just comply, so he did. Myles looked at Ray a bit confused.

“What about it?”

Ray let out a huff of annoyance before continuing. 

“Well, you’ve seemed a lot more compliant to follow me when you’re about to start practice.” He pointed out before turning slightly to glance at the taller teen. “But, you’re not like that with that dumb drama club. You actually argue with me, which is kind of hilarious to see you try and act tough.”

Myles’ cheeks flushed in embarrassment.

Am I seriously that bad at standing up for myself? Come on Myles, don’t let him get to you.

“I-It’s nothing, I just don’t like soccer as much…” He expressed with a downed voice.

“Then why play it?” Ray asked, more confused. “I mean, I’ve seen a few of your practices and just saying. You really suck at it.”

Myles’ face continued to go pink in embarrassment as Ray continued on. He wanted to take it as an insult as he was trying his best. Trying to keep up, to not get injured and to kick the ball into the goal. All of which he was fairly average on, despite playing the sport since middle school. However, it felt almost nice to hear he wasn’t too good at it. 

Not that I liked playing anyway…

“Thanks for that…” Myles grumbled out sarcastically.

“So, answer up dork.” Ray turned fully, which made Myles stop walking as he looked a bit down to be eye to eye with him. “Why play a sport you suck at? 

Myles gave a glare past his glasses as he lifted his arms a bit and stammered a bit before replying annoyedly. 

“Why is this so important for you to know?” He questioned with an edge in his voice.

This is when Ray stepped forward, which made Myles step back and shut him up. Even if the teen was taller, Ray was still stronger and he’s seen him win fights against other students. Myles knew he could probably knock his lights out if he wanted to. Ray noticed that slight fear on his face and tense in Myles and just stood still as he spoke.

“Not that I care, but like I said. You’ve seen more complaint to come with me from your soccer practices than for that play stuff.” Ray explained sternly as he crossed his arm. “Call me curious for wanting to know why.”

Myles swallowed the lump in his throat as he sighed, looking to the ground below. The last thing he wanted was for his biggest bully to know his private business. Especially with his parents, the ones who signed him up for those practices.

“I-I… I just don’t like sports, alright?” He stated, looking back up to the teenager in front of him. “I like performing on the big stage. Just feeling that thrill of opening day and acting like someone else for a change. I just feel… Myself when I’m on stage and-”

“Earth to Dork, ya done?”

Myles flinched a bit when Ray’s voice cut through his rambling as well as him poking his forearm. It made Myles flushed again as he looked away, quietly apologizing for rambling on about his passion for acting. The two were in silence for a bit before Ray turned and continued speaking. 

“Eh, you’re probably right.” He started as he began walking, looking back which made Myles slowly follow. “Those little practices you do when I come to getcha aren’t too bad, might need some work on your feet. I mean the last time I saw you, you looked like you were gonna fall on your ass. Heh, really should’ve had my phone out…”

“W-What!? That was probably just ensemble practice or a bad day from soccer practice anyway…” He tried his best to defend himself while trying to hide his reddening face.

“Try all the excuses you can four-eyes,” He laughed after turning to see him poorly hide his flustered face. “Won’t change the fact that you nearly flopped. Now, come on, Mrs. Patel won’t be in her classroom for the next fifteen minutes. Oh, and put these on.”

He reached into his pant’s pockets and shoved a pair of dark blue gloves onto Myles’ chest, which made him confused as he took them. Almost dropping them as Ray moved his hand away quickly.

“Stole these from the nurses office, now she can’t catch us if she sets another trap.” He said with a confident smirk. “Now come on, let’s make this quick.”

Myles followed as he put the gloves on with an exasperated expression and even more red face. However, he felt a bit lighter after Ray spoke even if it left with a lot of questions. 

I seriously can’t tell if he’s being encouraging or demeaning…?

Whatever, don’t let your mind wander Myles…

Let’s just get this over with.
