Hey so I dont really do this, like ever, but I was made aware of this user on here, @/th3sh4rk, who is stealing and reposting art without credit. [Using tone tags here for those who need them and also for Marcus hymself, as it was stated he needs them.]

He's stealing art from users on tumblr, and off pinterest [or so he's claimed]

No, unless it's explicitly stated by the artist that it's free to use, it's not free to use /srs

No, you can't assume art you get off of PINTEREST is free to use, because that site is NOTORIOUS for art theft- unless you're going and doing extensive research to find the original artists, you are also stealing art. /srs

And I need to make this point because I've had my art/works stolen many times over my years as an artist, this sentence boils my blood: "Credit to the artists!"

This does nothing for the artists. It's useless and lazy, and it's NOT actual credit, IT DOES NOT COUNT AS CREDIT.

All that does is block the artists from deserved recognition and anyone who wants to see more of their artwork from finding them. /srs /beyond irritated

I'll move on to the artists Marcus stole from- and I cannot understand why he didn't just credit the artists bc if he knew you could find the artists on this platform, that sounds like he got the art directly from the source. Which just implies to me that Marcus didn't ask, because if he did, he would've credited the artists.

It took me max 30 minutes to search and find these artists AND credit them. I don't care about any 'reason' you have to not credit, it's wrong and every artist deserves credit for their work, and "they can all be found here on tumblr" is just a spit in the face. /srs
