In your arms || Haikaveh

Kaveh’s had the lingering feeling of disaster ever since he and Alhaitham walked out of each other's lives, it never subsiding, just always being there like background noise.

When he and Alhaitham finally connected again, everything seemed to click, all the anxiety going away, until it returned tenfold.

He tends to come home from outings being scared for the day that he missteps and messes everything up again. That he'll come home and Al haitham will be gone. That the house will be empty. That a note will be left telling Kaveh to pack his things and leave.

Today is one of those days, when everything just feels wrong, like he's going to stumble.

He walked into the house they shared, trying his best to not slam the door to not irritate Alhaitham, knowing he doesn't like unnecessary loud noises.

When the blond walked further into the house, he noticed Alhaitham reading a book on the couch as usual, noise canceling headphones on his ears, shutting everything and everyone out, except for one person, Kaveh.

He tried his best to sneak past him to go to his room and work on an unfinished project, but he didn't succeed, the others sharp, assessing eyes snapping towards him.

"Didn't expect for you to return so early." Alhaitham grumbled, having shifted his eyes back down to his book.

"Didn't feel up to it." He murmured, trying his best to keep his voice steady and unwavering, but alas, he failed.

As he replied, he felt tears well up in his eyes, betraying him. The scribe looked up at him, lifting an eyebrow at his glossed over eyes.

"Everything okay? You seem off." Kaveh could have sworn he saw a hint of concern in the male's features for a split second, before being masked with nonchalant.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine, just tired, I'm gonna go work on a project." He quickly retreated to his room before Alhaitham could ask more questions. He watched Kaveh walk off, sighing.

He couldn't hold it back once he got to his room, locking his door and crumbling to the door in sobs, which he was trying his best to silence, he didn't want to get in the way of Al Haitham.

His breathing picked up, breaking out in a sweat, body trembling like a leaf in a storm.

Shit.

He's having a panic attack.

Kaveh tried his best to regulate his breathing, feeling like he's suffocating. This proved to be difficult, only making him feel worse.

As he was doing this, he heard a series of knocks on his door, snapping him out of his anxiety induced stupor.

“Kaveh? Are you okay?” He could hear the scribe exclaim, now, his voice full of worry. No, it probably isn't worry but annoyance, Kaveh has to be mistaking it.

“I'm fine, I'll shut up, I'm sorry.”  He replied, trying to keep his voice steady, as to not annoy his roommate any further.

“You know I can tell you're crying, right?” The man sighed out. Kaveh could hear him rest his head on the door, so the blond could hear him better.

“Can you please open the door, Kaveh?” Al haitham begged, making Kaveh feel guilty, since he could now tell that it actually is guilt in his voice, not annoyance.

The architect got up on shaky legs, unlocking the door and stumbling away from it to sit down on the edge of his bed, realizing that the panic attack had subsided. Did Al haitham’s voice do that?

The gray haired male opened the door slowly, looking at Kaveh with assessing eyes. Kaveh had his face buried in his hands, arms resting on his knees to avoid Al haitham’s gaze.

After a moment he felt the mattress dip, a body settling beside him, wrapping an arm around him, making him freeze.

“Kaveh? Can you look at me?” The blond lifted his head, realizing that the scribe's face was mere inches away from his. He felt his heart skip a beat.

“I'm so sorry.” He tried to bury his face in his hands again but didn't manage to as Al haitham had cupped his cheek with his free hand, rubbing circles on it.

“What are you apologizing for, you did nothing wrong.” Kaveh noted that his gaze was filled with adoration and concern.

“I'm annoying you, aren't i? i'm just a nuisance.” He uttered, feeling tears fill up his eyes again and the panic returning. The scribe's eyes widened, immediately after turning soft, kissing the tip of the blond's nose.

“Kaveh, you could never, and i mean never, annoy me, you're the light of my life, the only thing keeping me going on my darkest days, my missing piece, i could never see you as a nuisance, I love you, so so much, that every time i see you smile, or just see you overall, i feel like my heart is going to explode from adoration.” 

Kaveh’s eyes widened, filling with tears.

“Y-you mean that?” He asked with a trembling voice. Al haitham smiled, wiping away a stray tear with his thumb.

“Of course, I would never lie to you.” He leaned down and kissed his cheek, nuzzling his nose there.

Kaveh could no longer keep it together. He wrapped Al haitham into a tight embrace, breaking down in his shoulder. Al haitham nuzzled his hair, hugging him back and rubbing soothing circles on his back.

“Let it out love, let it all out, I've got you, I will always be there for you, always.”

The next morning when Kaveh woke up, he had an arm lazily slayed over his waist, a nose buried in his hair. There was soft sunlight streaming into the room through the gap in the curtains, painting the room a calming yellow tone. He could hear the bustling life of Sumeru through the crack in the window. It felt like everything and everyone was moving forward, but he and Al haitham were stuck in this soft moment, embracing one another. He liked that idea, staying here in bed with the love of his life. He lifted himself onto his elbows, pressing a chaste kiss to the corner of Al haithams lips, and if he spent the whole time before the scribe woke up gazing lovingly at his features, caressing his face and pressing feather light kisses all over it, then well, that was for only him to know.

A/N: Hey again!! I once again disappeared for a while and I really apologize for that :,)). I really hope ya'll will enjoy this, I've been kinda writing it on and off for like, 2 weeks, and today I finally got it done. Kavetham | Long day

Kaveh was laying on the divan, reading some romance book, barely being able to soak up the words on the page.

Alhaitham was at work for longer than usual, leaving the blond worried. He understood that being the scribe of the academia is a tasking job, but he was never gone for this long.

As the architect was stuck in his head, thinking of the worst, he heard the door open and close.

“Kaveh? You home?” The scribe called out.

Kaveh immediately let out a sigh of relief, getting off the divan and heading to the front door, to welcome home his boyfriend.

“Welcome home Haitham!” He exclaimed with a bright smile, opening his arms for a hug.

Alhaitham looked up from where he was taking off his boots, sporting a small smile. The gray haired male put down his boots neatly and wrapped his arms around Kaveh, burying his face in the architect's shoulder, inhaling.

“You smell nice, did you use my shower gel?” Alhaitham asked, his voice muffled by Kaveh’s shoulder.

“Yes I did, mine ran out, we're gonna have to go out and buy some later.” The blond said, lacing his hands through Alhaithams hair.

“Can we go tomorrow? I dont really feel up to it right now, had a long day.” The scribe said, lifting his head, looking at Kaveh with a loving gaze.

“Of course, cuddles?” Kaveh said, turning his head so he could see the scribe's face. 

Alhaitham nodded, pulling away from Kaveh, taking his hand and leading him to the divan he was previously laying on. Once they got there, he made the blond lay down, so he could lay down on top of him. This was Alhaithams favorite thing, the cuddles after a long day in the academia.

“Am i heavy?” He asked from where he had his face buried in Kaveh’s chest.

“Nope, you're as light as a feather.” He said, wrapping his arms around Alhaitham, kissing the crown of his head.

After a while of serene and comfortable silence, Alhaitham spoke up again.

“Is it okay if we stay like this for a while? This is pretty comfortable.” The scribe said, lifting his head up and resting his chin on Kaveh’s chest.

Kaveh smiled brightly, cupping Alhaitham’s cheek and threading his fingers through his hair.

“Of course Haitham, anything you want.” Kaveh chided, kissing the mans cheek.

Once Alhaitham settled down again, Kaveh picked up the book that he had discarded earlier, holding it up with one hand and threading his other through Alhaitham’s hair.

A few minutes later, Kaveh heard Alhaithams breathing even out and felt him relax.

Kaveh set the book down, looking at Alhaitham with an endearing gaze, beaming.

“Goodnight love, sleep tight.” The blond kissed the scribe's forehead, settling down as well, falling asleep shortly after.

Kaeya always got drunk, but not to the point of barely being able to walk. The most that would happen would be him stumbling a little bit. Not to the point of him practically falling into albedo's house.

when albedo heard the knocks at his door he didn't know who it could be. it was 12am, who would be here at this time.

Once he opened the door, in tumbled the drunk cavalry captain, kaeya.

Albedo just barely managed to catch him before he fell on the floor.

“kaeya? love, what happened, you never get this drunk” albedo asked once he had managed to get kaeya to the couch.

“s’ nothing” kaeya slurred out, barely being able to keep himself sitting up.

“I know it isn't nothing, I know you don't like speaking about your issues but please, if you need to talk it out, i'm right here” the blond said while rubbing circles on the blue haired males back.

After a moment, Kaeya rested his head on Albedo's shoulder and broke down.

“i jus’ remembered mine and dilucs fight” kaeya barely managed to say, the alcohol and sadness weighing down his mind.

Albedo pulled the taller male into his lap before settling his head in the crook of his neck.

“Shh, it's okay, I'm right here, that was a long time ago dear” albedo said, running his hand through kaeyas hair, the other hand rubbing circles on his back.

“but my brother still hates me” he barely got out due to the sobs he was letting out.

“you two will reconcile, it takes time my love. how about we go to bed so you can get some rest, hm?” the alchemist said, pulling away from Kaeya and looking him in the eyes.

“ ‘kay” Kaeya got up, stumbling a bit before albedo wrapped his arm around his waist, guiding him to their bedroom.

once they got to their bedroom, albedo got changed, kaeya got changed as well with the help of albedo.

Once they both got changed, they got into bed, kaeya cuddling up to albedo.

Kaeya was laying on Albedo's chest, while Albedo was running his hands through the captain's hair.

“thank you ‘bedo” kaeya murmured out, sleep weighing his voice down heavily.

“No problem love, i'll always be here for you on your darkest days, i'll always be proud of you for being able to continue going” albedo mumbled into kaeyas hair before giving his head a kiss.

After a moment, Kaeya had finally drifted off to sleep, his breathing nice and even unlike earlier.

albedo smiled.

“goodnight love, i can't wait to wake up to you in the morning” the blond said one last time beore kissing the blue haired males head and falling asleep as well.

During the ancient times, there lived a fox adeptus that was named Reges amores (kings love). He was a beautiful adeptus. Orange bright hair, blue ocean like eyes, a fluffy fox tail and ears and a chocker around his neck with a hydro vision as the pendant.

This said adeptus, was the geo archons, Rex lapis’ lover. They lived happily, till the archon war began.

During the archon war, Reges amores was slayed by a less known god.

All while Reges amores was hanging onto the last strings of life, he could remember Rex lapis crying ‘don’t leave me please beloved’ and the aching pain in his heart from the spear that was pierced through his heart.

After a moment, the life left Reges amores’ body and he was pronounced dead.

Zhongli was treversing the streets of liyue as per usual, looking at some trinkets that caught his eye.

What he didn’t think he would see was a head of bright, ginger hair and piercing lifeless blue eyes.

As the ex-archon saw this, his mind immediately was filled with his beloved  reges amores.

He looked exactly like him, just without the ears and tail.

While zhongli was drowning in his thoughts, he didn’t realize that the said ginger was right in front of him.

“Hey sir, are you okay? Am i just that handsome that you can’t help staring?” The ginger smirked and tilted his head.

“huh? oh, i am so sorry, i did not intend to stare” Zhongli apologized, slightly bowing.

The ginger laughed.

“It’s really alright, i’m Tartaglia by the way, but you can just call me Childe”

Childe stuck out his hand towards zhongli. The brown haired male shook his hand and threw a polite smile Childe’s way.

“Zhongli, it’s nice to meet you Childe”

Childe woke up in the morning, feeling a weight on his chest.

Looking down, he spotted Zhongli with his head on childes chest and arm around his waist.

Childe smiled, running a hand through the ex-archons' long brown hair

The brunette let out a content rumble. Zhongli smiled in his sleep, cuddling up closer to the red head.

After a moment childe spotted the two sets of horns that adorned his beloved's head and the long tail sticking out from under the duvet.

Childe had a mischievous grin on his face as he scratched at the base of one of the horns.

“Beloved, what are you doing?” Zhongli said when he woke up, peeking up at his lover.

“oh nothing, just waking you up” Childe chuckled, running a hand through the brunette's hair.

In response, Zhongli grumbled and went back to sleep.

“Aw, come on love, it's time to get up!” Child tried to shake zhongli off of him but to no avail.

“Mmm, five more minutes” Childe let out a small laugh, not expecting to hear such a thing from someone like zhongli.

Kaeya layed in Dainsleif’s arms, barely holding onto life after a rather severe fight with some abyss mages.

Dainsleif had tears streaming down his face. 

“Kaeya, i’m so sorry i couldn’t save you. I’m so so sorry”

Dainsleif sobbed into the blue haired males chest.

Kaeya lifted his hand up with the last strength he had.

“it’s okay dain’, you did your best”

Kaeya put his hand on Dainsleif’s cheek. After some time, Kaeya felt the life leaving his body as he mumbled..

“I love you dain’, I’ll see you in another life.”

Dainsleif had lost Kaeya. He lost him. He lost his first love, his soulmate, the only person that cared about him, his prince.

He was completely alone now.
