hello, kas! may we please get a shoutout? — we’re a dark academia roleplay set in a college in upstate new york. we follow a group of students tricked into picking one of their peers to protect their own reputation, thinking that the individual would only have a secret exposed; but instead they wind up dead. the truth they tried so hard to keep hidden seem to pale in comparison to the weight of a murder on their shoulders and no one can come clean without a domino effect. thank you!

below the cute little cut, you will find my opinion on @nova-hq​ ! reminder that these are just my opinions & in no way reflect what is best for the roleplay. only the admins who put in the time to make the roleplay what it is can determine what is best & how to propel the roleplay forward. the admins have done an amazing job so far !

first glance

at first look, i love the graphics & the theme. it’s a style that i always aspire for when i attempt my own graphics. the navigation was easy to find what i was looking for. the different page styles were working for me until the nova headquarters page. the rest of the theme had a more muted look to it & then that page was more abundant with color, so it just threw me for a loop. for uniformity sake, i would suggest making the staff page / app / wc pages the same as the plot, rules, etc. pages.

there is a lot of information on the pages, which i normally wouldn’t like because i’ll admit that i can be super lazy. however, for this roleplay i definitely feel like it is important, because it might be a little easier to get lost with the complexity of everything. 

the different subsections being clearly separated ( like in the rules, the planet pages, etc. ) definitely help with keeping everything organized & easy to follow. 

plot

i’m really digging the plot. it’s kind of got a the 100 vibe, but with interesting additions. i also think that the style of how missions and whatnot unravel will be interesting. i’m a big fan of games like that, where luck of the roll determines your character’s outcome. 

overall

i’m really digging this idea in the plot & how the events will be decided. i like it enough that this will be a high recommendation when you guys officially open & depending on when that happens & what my schedule looks like, i’ll consider joining !
