Excuses to not to workout
What excuse do you have for not working out?
If it is a medical issue- there is a way for you to work out!  Just talk with your doctor on what kind of workouts that you can do.
If it is a time issue-  take away 10 minutes from facebook, twitter, websites, or whatever you're doing that you do in the morning, afternoon, and evening-  if you're denying that you're not on the internet then why are you reading this?  GOTCHA!  You can make the time- the suggestion I mentioned gives you 30 minutes for workouts!
Get up 30 minutes earlier to get in your workout!
Walk instead of parking close to the store you're shopping at.
Take the stairs instead of elevator- believe me, I know it can be hell but it works! I lived on the 5th floor of a dorm that did not have an elevator- imagine move in and move out days??
Work out at home if you feel that you're taking up too much time driving to and leaving a gym.
If it is an "I don't know where to start" excuse-  invest in a workout program.  I invested in TurboFire and Les Mills Pump- it changed my life!  Check out www.tylerporche.com for more details.
If it is an "I have children" excuse-  get your children involved!!  Child obesity is at its worst right now! You can be a role model! There are many workout DVDs for children if you're unsure on what to do.  Best yet- go outside and play!  Encourage your kids to play sports!
If it is an "I don't give crap for my health" excuse- ok be prepared to spend $$ for cholesterol (can go up to $400 a month),  diabetic medication (up to $300 a month), doctor visits, cat scans/MRI scans to determine issues if you're obese, etc.
Now- you don't have any more excuses!  Get your butt up and simply start working out by either walking, running, using equipment, or DVD programs!

1-16-12 What's your Workout?
What's your workout today?  I snuck in a TurboFire Stretch 40 simply because I was having a stiff back.  Much Better! Later today I will be doing Fire 45 EZ class.  I am reaching my goals step by step.  What's your goal this week?  My goal is to lose 3-5 lbs this week and to continue to reach out to people daily about fitness and nutrition.

Updates 1-15-2012
Hi Guys! Sorry it has been a crazy week! It was the first week back to work for 2012! I have been having a great week!  I feel so inspired because I was able to reach out to many people this week.  I had the opportunity to give two fitness classes this week with several people,  give a fitness/nutrition presentation at my work, lead a team call for the success team challenge,  and then held a Beachbody Challenge at my home.  WOW! What a week!
I am still reading Chalene Johnson's book- PUSH which helps me so much with following through my goals.  It is a great book!  Now I feel so much more confident.  Of course there are bumps on my journey but it is a learning process for me.
Today I would like to share a link that really hit me because I was a strong soda drinker and I am glad to say that I have not drank a sip of soda in 2012 :-).   This blog was really very clear on what soda does to your body.  I would like to share this with you.  I would love to hear what you have to say about this.  I hope this will help you decide on what you want best for your body especially when it can be so damaging if you continue to drink soda.   Some say its ok to drink soda moderately.  I have decided that I will no longer drink soda.  I will not put myself in risk that will cause me to become obese, develop health problems, and possibly die.  That is not what I want for my son's life.  I am taking charge of my life.  Will you?
Check it out!
