heyy!! so ik my activity has been low atm anyway, but im currently on day 7/9 of working in a row, so im pretty exhausted right now. and i probably wont be around on my days off this week bc ... s.pider-man 2 so if yk yk. but i'll be around at the weekend hopefully!!!

another day, another little green dude on luke’s back

                    suddenly , hope reignited itself as he sat forward with anticipation. he didn't know much about her , only that she was a powerful senator in the old republic. luke should've known that she would have ties to certain jedi , if only he knew how tight the thread was knit. his feet now hanging from the bed , he continued to lean forward as his eyes scanned her expression. if it wasn't for the newfound excitement , he may have noticed the strange familiarity that emanated from her.

❝ you do ? that would be great. if there's more jedi out there , then surely we have to find them ? they can't be all gone , i don't believe it.   ❞

she recognized him instantly. the spitting image of his father, but with eyes and a spirit that matched her own. OF COURSE SHE COULD NEVER TELL HIM NOW. he was so distraught over so many things, and the knowledge that his mother had been alive this whole time certainly wouldn’t help anything. “ there must be other jedi you can find, luke. ” padmé presses her lips together in a thin line, mind searching for anyone that could help him. most, if not all of the jedi she knew from before were gone or in hiding, location unknown to her and for good reason, even if she didn’t like it. HER MIND FLASHES TO ANAKIN — anakin, i met our son. he’s just as perfect as i imagined. “ i have some contacts. i could find you a master — that is, if you want me to. ”

                    to see his father this way , talking & reminiscing about his past victories. clouded by dark consequences & even darker actions , luke was glad he could see some joy found in his father's expression. the clone wars was known almost entirely as legend to him , raised on whispers & fragmented stories that never quite fit together. now , he could find out how much he truly did resemble his father ... or his mother.

                    he turns more fully , tilting his head as he eagerly awaits for the stories to begin. but first , he smirks & briefly gestures towards him. ❝ i'm keen to learn from your experiences. i would tell you about mine , but you were present for most of them ... in some way.   ❞

                        luke's comment back has him smiling and turning his face aside to lightly chuckle, for he wasn't wrong. recklessness is a word engraved into the name of skywalker; it came hand in hand. the spirit of anakin skywalker shrugs his shoulders. ❝ ah, that's not for me to tell i'm afraid. i'm sure in time, obi-wan will tell you all about my ... improvised plans. ❞

the clone wars — what a distant memory that was now. stories that the elders of the galaxy now tell their young. of a time before the empire, when jedi by the thousands soared through the skies. ❝ but if you've got some time right now — ❞ he uncrosses his arms, dropping them by his side in a more casual way. ❝ — i could probably recall a battle or two? ❞

                    recent losses still weighed upon his conscience , only now setting in once the time to linger on the thoughts arrived. he hadn't known the ex-senator for long , albeit she was one of his closest confidants already. it was like she knew him better than he knew himself. if it weren't for her , he wasn't sure if he would voice his mind at all. the loss of his aunt & uncle , his master as well as the uncertainty of his future all pressed him at the same time. though , he wasn't arrogant to believe she didn't know what loss felt like too. ❝ yeah , well , who hasn't ? the empire has taken so much from us.   ❞ he glances down , pulling at the ends of his sleeves as he shrugs. ❝ without ben , how will i become a jedi ? i'm just not sure if i can do what i did again ... use the force.   ❞
