help me decide what stobotnik fic to finish off and publish?

1. Agent Stone is not a sane man, per se. Agent Stone, for one, works for the government. Some could say that’s enough to make someone insane. But working for the lunatic robotics engineer, Doctor Robotnik, takes his insanity a step further. (no sonic 3 spoilers)

2. Trust is not something Stone ever imagined he’d earn from the doctor. He was steeling himself for a life of forever longing and concealing. But these uncharacteristic occurrences are becoming more and more frequent. Hope is sawing through his hearts jail cell bars. (some small sonic 3 spoilers)

3. Stone sighs and adjusts his tie. His niece has been bugging him all morning to wear the dog ear headband he bought to work. They visited a market the previous Sunday, and while there, they found a stall with car and dog ear headbands. His niece, Maple, loves dogs. And Stone does, too! They bond over their love for dogs every time they catch up. Maple loves talking to Stone because her mom, Stone’s sister, is more of a cat person. (no sonic 3 spoilers)

the dichotomy between Lee and Jim talking about Stone/Robotnik is hilarious because on one hand we've got Lee coming up with thoughtful, heartbreaking headcanons for Stone, giving genuine emotional depth to their relationship, first-naming Ivo and practically writing his own 500k found family to lovers fic. and then Jim's like "yeah they're toxic. probably boning too"

I just want to thank whoever out there decided that for sonic 3 lee majdoub's chest will NOT get manscaped. literally doing the lords work. a fucking blessing onto us all. it may have been a mere glimpse but I saw a beautiful, bright future of gorgeous men with their hairy chests gracing the silver screen anew.

Stobotnik fic where Robotnik just assumes him and Stone are dating and doesn't say anything about it because, what he's supposed to talk about feelings? No? And Stone is just unaware of this

this has been my headcanon since day 1, he's genuinely just so traumatised and insecure that he assumes the worst in everyone. practically every fic I write follows this model because its hard to imagine him without this inherent thought pattern

Robotnik saying that he's undesirable to all genders made me realize that he didn't ignore Stone's affection because he doesn't care about him but because he just simply didn't believe that anyone could love him and thought that Stone was only pretending to care about him as a part of his job.

this is very helpful ty for this, I haven't seen any captions for the movie! it is so much more intimate of him to say this. he's not just saving the world and also mentioning his favourite henchman. he's saving the world FOR him. he is doing it with agent stone in mind. the small difference changes the emotional weight of this sentence significantly to me
