since apparently this is controversial, reblog with your country in the tags and whether or not you think noodles and pasta are the same thing
#US specifically northeast US#pasta is any unleavened dough formed into shapes or sheets to be boiled#whereas noodles is any pasta long and/or flat and/or good enough at holding sauces to be the main attraction of a dish#so its a squares and rectangles thing. all noodles is pasta but not all pasta is noodles#for example orzo and bowties are NOT noodles
