Welcome to a brand new AU high school roleplay based on the game [PROTOTYPE]. Here at Independence High, you can roleplay as your favorite game character or some new faces that have been entwined in their lives, walking them through the everyday horrors of high school life surrounding two very interesting twins—Alex and Zeus Mercer.

"I already know the truth," he said stubbornly, sticking his tongue out at the scientist.  "You can tell me otherwise all you want, but I'm not going to believe it, bastard."

"And you’re speaking with the man who ever sees your mother’s development when he gets the chance." He responded. This was getting ridiculous; he was trying to reason with a virus-infested child, for fucks sake! He sighed and rubbed his temples. “You know what? I think I might let you go around and find out the truth yourself."

Pariah nodded in reply, letting the woman drag him along.  He probably should have been a little concerned, but running from Blackwatch was nothing new for him.  He had to work hard not to get himself captured and thrown back into the hands of the twisted Gentek scientists.

She continued pulling him along, picking up her pace to a run. “I live just outside the Red Zone." She said, pointing to a large apartment building.

"Why didn't you just make up another name?" he asked, though he couldn't really talk.  Pariah wasn't much of a name either, and he'd never bothered to make one for himself.

"Well, I didn’t choose it." she said with a shrug, ignoring the child’s look, “A man gave it to me, I kinda ‘accepted’ it and got to use it since I don’t remember my own name."

"So it's mother's virus?" he inquired, brow furrowing slightly.  "That's... strange.  She didn't have many evolved creations that I know of..." Now that he thought about it, could she make evolved?  And could he?  Now that would be interesting to find out.  Pariah made a note to test it out later when he got the chance.

She shrugged, not really expecting a big reaction from him. “About a year now, I believe. Came here after the first outbreak."
