I don't see a clear description of "dedicated space" Does that mean you have a spot that is always yours? We're looking to join a spot this week with two folks.

Our monthly 24/7 pricing is now $200 for coworking (any open seat) and $400 for a dedicated desk.

Definitely come stop by to check the space out when you can.

We know it's hard to find our suite so here's a picture (from Google) with our entrance. Currently the door says Suite E/F but we are in there too.

Remember, our space is open 24/7 but the outside door does get locked. If you get to the door and it is locked, we have a combination lock on the right chained to the bars on the window. The keys to the outside door are there.

Put the keys back once you've unlocked the door. Once inside, we use Lockitron to unlock the inside door from anywhere in the world. Please welcome Tom and his team (photo later) from Bursting Brains Studio @BurstingBrains to the Chicon Collective.

"Bursting Brains Studio was founded May 21st, 2012 by Tom Yu, a college student at the time who was majoring in Computer Science. His sister, Sophia Yu, was able to round out the talent pool with her experience in digital art and anything creative related. They used their respective talent to create something more than either one of them could create individually. And that's how Bursting Brains was born. Midway through the summer, Katrina Funtanilla joined the team and Bursting Brains grew even stronger. This person had experience in video game advertising and helping start-ups grow. She launched this site and is now critical to our marketing operations. She has been at the front lines engaging  and promoting to customers while also working on initiatives to reach a wider audience. Tom finished college the end of that summer along with launch Bursting Brain's first game, Paddletronic Duel."

Pricing for Membership

We're going to be as transparent as possible with this. - We need to cover our costs to keep the space alive forever, but we can't do it alone.

Our current costs are as follows: $1600 rent $200 electricity (budgeted) $200 liability insurance $50 internet (Grande Communications is getting us an awesome rate) 30Mbs Down and we can always upgrade when needed. $200 amenities (food, beverages, & miscellaneous)

That's a total of $2250/month We have about 25 desk seats available to use with about 5 spots on couches/lounge chairs. At a cost of $80/month per professional member, we can cover our costs. We don't want to break the bank for students so for those still in school, we will do $40/month If you consider the fact that you typically spend $3-5 each time you go to a coffee shop, this should be a no brainer.  Coffee will be graciously provided by GrimpeurBros - Give them a shout out on Twitter @GrimpeurBros

Our memberships will work like this: All members will get 24/7 access to the space All members are required to spend time on another member's project. That time is determined by you and the project owner. - We're primarily trying to promote cross-pollination of skills and foster communication. Easy enough? - Our motto is to "Show Don't Tell" and keeping along those lines, we are looking for designers and developers to fill out the space for now. If you are a business person, we're sorry but you aren't allowed at this point in time.

*edit* - we didn't want to exclude all the business ppl out there as that's definitely important and a huge aspect of the eventual execution and growth of  startups. we more want to prevent an influx of people simply looking to recruit doers for their projects before they do anything themselves. if you are a DOer, please don't hesitate to come check us out, even if you are a business person.
