Just finished a fourth of Chapter 6 of WROTWN and all I can say is this chapter is DARK... well at least the opening of it is because thats what I got done 😅

4,000-word opener roughly 10 pages

And to think the villain in this chapter is not as bad as the real villain of the story~

Will you ever put out chapter art for any of your fics?

If any of my fics were to get chapter art it would be What Remains Of the Wittebane name. but i most likely won't be drawing chapter art.

If I do get a request to pay someone or if someone gave me chapter art as a gift I would absolutely draw my OCs and designs for those.

But most likely none of my chapters will ever have chapter art, I'll consider it however

I've always had 😅

It's just not something I enjoy doing. I like that I'm skilled enough to draw realistically but also don't like it at the same time.

I've been trying to change my style to look more cartoonish or soft for a while but it always looks so off with my style.

I'm still sticking to writing though, that is something im much more confident in sharing

Anyways I've been kinda struggling to embrace my art style which is realism. There are a few characters that belong to @azure-blaze92 that I've been wanting to draw but I kinda force myself to draw as close to the original models as possible which ruins my art style completely.

So i decided to actually draw in my style instead of trying so hard to make it cartoonish.

Im sure by the drawing you can tell I HATE drawing hats and glasses I HATE HIS FUCKASS HAT

But nonetheless im actually proud to use my actual art style :))

Here is a little drawing I did for a friend. It's the unfinished piece only because I am not confident in showing my ability to draw people 😅

But i really liked how this part of the peice turned out.

I have to let out my enjoyment of writing brutal and disturbing villains in this chapter now because I won't until I reveal the real villain that isn't a haunter of the narrative until chapter 15. I think, maybe further.

I ran by a scene with my friends that was the most disturbing part of the chapter and I edited it a bit to not leave out a single detail.

The intro of the chapter itself is roughly 3,000 words its DETAILED and man did i write a brutal villain. And hes not even the MAIN villain.

The main villain is worse and that's for you all to find out once he gets revealed.

I really miss that we don't have many darker animal xenofiction movies/series coming out these days. I miss stuff like The Secret of NIMH, Plague Dogs, Watership Down, Animals of Farthing Wood, Felidae, etc.

Closest we've gotten in the past decade and a half is like...Guardians of Ga'Hoole movie and the 2018 WSD series? I can't think of any others

ABSOLUTELY, there was only so much Netflix could cover, the book itself has a lot more story to it

Is the book Watership Down any good? (I don’t know anything about the book.) Asking because I finished rewatching the 2018 miniseries, and I just love that so much. Blorbos, the lot of them.

As someone who watched both films and read the book I can agree, the voice acting, the plot, and the fact that mainly what it changed was giving us a more female cast was amazing.

My only main criticism was that the models were off a few times but its not very noticeable right away

Watership down 2018 is better than the 1978 movie
