It pisses me off that I pay attention to more politics than my mother. I've seen some instances of people using "misinformation" when referring to Trump's media censorship. It bugs me a bit (not a lot, just want people to stay informed) seeing people using the wrong terminology when talking about this.

Misinformation is the UNINTENTIONAL spreading of lies.

The word your looking for is DISINFORMATION: the purposefully obfuscation of the truth.

MISinformation is an accident, DISinformation is intentional.

I don't mean to sound like a snarky, asshole nerd with this, I just people to know the difference since "Trump isn't spreading misinformation" is technically a correct statement. He's spreading DISinformation.
