I was at a wedding, and my ride had to leave, so I’m like “I’ll just get an Uber it’s fine” and I have the time of my life at this wedding.

Plot twist: no Uber is going to drive you an hour back to your house at 11pm. At this point, I’m scared. There aren’t any bus stations nearby, and it would take anyone who answered my call at least an hour to get to me.

Luckily, the groom’s mom sees me and asks about my ride. And I’m like “yeah I’m stranded haha pls help me” but she has no room in her car…

Then, the DJ (yes, the DJ who was playing for the wedding) is like “wait did you say you need to get to [redacted]? I used to live there, and I drive right through it!”

Turns out he used to live on the EXACT ROAD I LIVE ON NOW. He offers to drive me back.

Now at this point, the alarm bells are going off in my head. Stranger danger. What are the odds? And amazingly, I’ve reached a point in my life where I don’t want to die, so I’m scared. But I’m also desperate.

I get in the strange man’s car. It’s a disaster, and the whole back is full of his DJ stuff. I’m thinking that I’ve fully lost my mind, but we buckle up and pull out.

He’s really nice tho, and asks me about how I know the couple. I tell him about how the groom and I bonded over cartoons, and he’s like “I have a Steven Universe and Gravity Falls tattoos!” And then we start talking about the music. We both love music, and musicals.

We stop for snacks and gas, the he puts on a musical theater playlist, and we’re laughing and talking and singing along.

When we make it to my house, I give him my snap so we can go see musicals together. :)

I got in a stranger’s car and left with a new friend. But fr, do not try this at home. Idk how I’ve gotten this far in life with my BSing everything, including my personal safety.

TDLR: I got stranded at a wedding and hitched a ride with a stranger (the DJ) and now we’re friends who will go see musicals together!

if we look at the original timeline (aka annabeth and percy being born in 1993) then 2009 was a big year for annabeth bcus not only did the battle of manhattan take place and she finally started dating percy, but also minecraft came out and i think that would be a big deal to her

Imagine if Heroes of Olympus gets a live adaptation and when Hazel is yelling at Jason for wanting to leave Nico behind, Percy starts slow clapping, and at first everyone's like "wtf" then he and Annabeth start singing "oh golly, the road is gettin bumpy. Cause I got me some friends that just can't get along"

I love that the beginning of ep 4 shows that Sally is not perfect. She’s done being patient she’s scared she’s trying to prepare her son for something terrifying that she can’t tell him about and she looses it a bit. But Percy’s reaction shows how much love and trust there is between them because a child that young doesn’t know to calm someone in this way unless he’s been shown it, his first instinct is empathy and love, and I just absolutely adore Sally for not being some Holy Mary Mother of Christ who can Do No Wrong but just a young woman who loves her son so much and so deeply it’s insane.
