Let’s be honest, half of Storybrooke, at least, go.
i mean i know it's just a plothole for killian to know about the 'handless wonder' comment, considering he wasn't in the scene when regina said that, but now for some reason i can't help but imagine that emma and him secretly organize regina drag parties.
that seriously made my day, thanks
#anti regina#anti regina mills#I want snow to also go#and in the first few seasons she would#but for the last ones#she either stopped going#or goes to vent#she needs it#she spends the whole day looking after two babies#and Henry

I wanna talk about something. The way this fandom treats Chad is disgusting. So many not-Chad-friendly fics are made and it baffles me. Chad does not deserve this treatment. He was simply a dimwit who had clouded judgement about four teens. He’s not a monster. He’s not a bully. He wouldn’t abuse the person he’s in a relationship with, and he is no rapist. So why do I see this all the time? I understand that people will exaggerate characters for angst, but my real concern is for the people that actually think this would be in character for Chad. What did Chad do? He used Evie for homework and he wrongfully called out the VKs at Family Day, yes, I know those are two awful things, but how do you see a rapist or an abused from that? It’s ridiculous. You know who’s more terrible than Chad? MAL. Yeah, I said it. Why? Cause you’re all biased. You will completely shit on Chad for those two mild things he did, but you all seem to completely ERASE the things Mal did on the Isle. Trapping kids with bats, the constant torture she would cause, but no. That’s just your precious baby cinnamon roll Mal, and let’s not forget about Jay’s kleptomania (the habit of stealing). So, no, Chad is not the complete monster you all seem to think he is.
#i’m on the fence about the family day situation#I mean he wasn’t wrong#but he didn’t know he was correct#so…#also kinda mad at the people who are mad at him for shoving Evie’s hand out of his face#but excuse Mal literally trying to kill her on the Isle for something that happened over 10 years ago#and for trying to curse her for the same reason after that failed#will I condone it?#no#do I think people hating him for it while excusing Mal for worse is fair?#also no#also I think he was in the right to get her hand out of his face#she put her hand in his face#and he got it out of his face#did he use excess force?#maybe#do I know several other people who would do the exact same thing?#yes#personally#I think it’s overplayed so people can feel good about hating him#but whatever

We all know that Hoth was a simmering mess of hormones and stress and I would pay good money for a soap opera about them. Here are some things which Definitely Happened:
There’s a betting pool going on who takes Luke’s virginity. The favourites are Han and Leia, but Wedge Antilles has pretty good odds, and there’s a small contingent of aliens who are convinced it will be Chewie (after all, who could resist that Wookie musk? Headcanon: most alien races consider humans soft and gross. Most alien races find Wookies absurdly attractive. Han Solo isn’t the ladykiller; Chewie is.)
Leia and Han scream at each other in every corner of the base. Everyone is desperate for them to fuck. They do not. The sexual tension is so thick that it could be cut into blocks and sold as wall insulation. More than once they are ‘accidentally’ locked in a supply cupboard in the vain hope that claustrophobia will act as the catalyst that enables their frustration to spark into true love – or at least nasty raunchy cupboard sex. It does not. All that happens is that the offender has legally changed their name to escape the Wrath of Organa.
Someone paints a shirtless Han Solo on their X Wing. Leia is furious. Han is delighted: both at the highly flattering portrait (he has an eight-pack, he is shredded) and at Leia’s fury (you’re jealous princess/no I am not/you’re jealous, hey I can pose like that for you if you –). Hoth’s winter had nothing on the chilly silence that followed that suggestion.
Luke and Leia both have very graphic dreams about Han Solo. Han Solo has very graphic dreams about the twins – individually, together, he’s thirty fucking years old, why is his brain doing this to him.(Later on they will, individually, realise that due to Luke and Leia’s Force-bond they probably created a circle of Han Solo Sex Dreams: Leia had them, so Luke sensed her lust for Han which intensified his own lust for Han, which led to Luke having Han Solo sex dreams, which led to Leia lusting – and so on, and so on. For the sake of their sanity, they never share this revelation which each other.)
Luke is SO COLD. All the time. WHY DOES NO ONE APPRECIATE HOW COLD HE IS. He comes from a desert world. Of course he’s cold! What is all this white stuff? It was pretty for the first fve seconds but holy fucking Force it is so cold it burns and what the hell is going on with that? He bundles himself up in so many layers that he waddles rather than walks. Fearsome Last of the Jedi indeed.
Luke tapes a knife to a cleaning droid (disc-shaped things that swish around the base, sucking up dirt) and names it Stabby. Why, says Leia. Luke, the boy from Tatooine, shining and happy despite everything says why not. Why not indeed. Stabby is very fond of chasing Han. Han wants desperately to shoot the fucking thing– but then he sees big-eyed Luke and sharp-toothed Leia cooing over it and, well. A little bit of light stabbing is nothing, compared to those two smiling.

Something else that always confused me about Once Upon a Time is the population density of Storybrooke.
Like Storybrooke is described as being a small and tight-knit town, right? The kind of place that’s easily hidden and where everyone knows each other. But Regina’s Dark Curse covered entire kingdoms, plural - we even see in Season 2 that the only thing that stopped the Dark Curse from reaching over all the land was Cora’s protective boundary, and even then they only saved like a little bubble of villages.
So… were these multiple kingdoms consumed by the curse basically just tiny villages with big castles? Is Storybrooke actually the size of a large city and the plot just doesn’t care? Or did the Dark Curse just poof people right out of existence so it didn’t have to bother putting so many people in such a tiny town?
#THANK YOU#finally someone said it#I’ve just been running with the theory that it’s huge#and the dark curse altered the rest of the world to fit it in without suspicion#like magic does work a little#for some people like Emma and the dragon guy (forgot his name)#and it did alter where Storybrooke now stands#so nothing says that it’s not bigger

with rare exceptions, I’d prefer a villain stay a villain rather than get a half-assed redemption arc.

I know this is D1 Mal and this is before Mal goes through her D1 arc, but like, she was already debating on spelling Audrey….why do I feel like if she had done this, people would have still somehow defended it….
Though crack theory that this spell is how Mal avoids her friends being mad at her for long

#villains#no one's got time for your pity parties you terrible dudes#be better#and if you must be a villain maybe redeem yourself in a meaningful way#without making the redemption work contingent on people forgiving you#seriously why do people keep making excuses#even if they’re in a bad situation and subsequently do something bad#you can’t just sweep all of that under the rug#every action has a consequence or reaction#that’s how it works#even if they did actually change#no one should have all of their actions erased#it doesn’t change the fact that what happened happened#that’s how redemptions work#that’s how you know they’re redeemed#half-apologies don’t count either#anti regina mills#anti mal bertha#anti tony stark

1. Which VK had the worst parent? Carlos and the rest of the de Vils. The Baduns by association, because they make their kids hang out and live entirely too close to Hell Hall. Clayton and Gaston are also violent and barely tolerate their kids going to school. That guy that turned all of those kids into donkeys in Pinocchio.
2. Which VK had the best parent? The Faciliers, Ginny (with Cassandra as her mom), the kids under Harriet’s protection, Anastasia is trying her best, so are the bimbettes, those from the Snuggly Duckling if they’re on the Isle. Cassian if he has any kids. Sinbad’s kids. Jack Sparrow’s, Elizabeth and Will Turner’s (they’re pirates, they’re on the Isle). They try their best, ok.
3. What is Harriet Hook’s personality? She’s nice enough if you’re a part of her crew/under her protection or an ok-ish kid (don’s steal from or antagonize her crew). She’s ruthless if you try to challenge or go against her. DO NOT try to mess with her siblings or her crew, it will be a painful death. (Not so) slightly self destructive. She has mom energy, and the glare down.
4. If it was up to FG, would she keep the No Magic policy? Depends. On one hand, she thinks that having no magic at all is a little extreme and could potentially be harmful, as keeping it all bottled up can be harmful and like a ticking time bomb. On the other hand, people in general can be pretty reckless and won’t always use it responsibly. There are risks, and she acknowledges them.
5. How do the Hook siblings get along? Ok-ish. They argue and fight, and steal from each other (mostly Harry and CJ from Harriet and Cj from Harry, and they have to get their stuff back). However, you start up with one, and there’s always a chance the other two will end you slowly and painfully, so. Depends on the time of day and what day.
6. Which Disney character would definitely be against King Adam’s strict rules and restrictions? Eugene, Aladdin, Rapunzel, Jasmine, Robin Hood, the Merry Men, Maid Marian, and Aurora. Eugene, Aladdin, and Aurora always had less restrictions and could get away with dodging the law, in the case of the former two, and could end up drowning in them, along with the added restrictions of royalty they now find themselves with. Rapunzel and Jasmine have always had too many restrictions and were stuck in a set area in an effort to keep them safe/controlled. They chafe. Rapunzel would also have some problems with royal expectations, along with many new royals. Robin Hood, Maid Marian, and the Merry Men were mostly hunted when they interfered with Prince John’s operations, and also were on the run from the law, so the rules they couldn’t get around or avoid are new, and tight.
7. How would the rest of the AKs feel about the rest of the Isle kids being brought over? Some might be happy, some annoyed and unhappy, most are kind of indifferent. As long as the VKs don’t mess with them or descendants of those who tormented their parents, they don’t really care as long as they are nice/don’t bother them. Everyone is horrified as the darker parts of the Isle are revealed.
8. What are Ben’s views upon his father’s acts as king? He looks up to his father. Some acts, like the Isle in general, he doesn’t really like, but as long as Beast paints the actions as a good thing (or mostly good if you dig into it a bit), Ben is either a fan or indifferent.
9. How would the VKs feel about meeting their parents’ enemies? They’re mostly disappointed and overall react negatively. They know how bad their parents are, and yet they just left them to starve, be abused, and die. They aren’t impressed, especially since they’re being hailed as heroes even if they did bad things, too (Aladdin stole for food, but Eugene stole out of greed. The VKs get judged but they got rewarded with becoming royalty (not exactly but still)).
10. Do any of the VKs think that their parents’ actions weren’t as bad as they were made out to be? All of the Tremaine kids. Lady Tremaine, they get- child abuse- but Drizella and Anastasia were bullies. Not really Isle-deserving behavior (after they were on the Isle is different). Even counting the later movies, if Mal got away scott-free about the love spell, why not their parents? Aunt Sarah’s kids, if she has any. The kids of any petty thieves or those who joined up with a villain out of necessity. Ginny (as Cassandra’s kid) thought that her mom redeemed herself, along with Lance and Varian. Any kids of those from the Snuggly Duckling, if those guys are here.
11. In a life or death situation, would Uma save Mal’s life? Unfortunately, yes. She’s too good to not. The gesture wouldn’t be returned, however, unless Mal has something to gain from it.
12. Are there any misunderstood villain sidekicks who were wrongfully placed on the Isle? Iago. Aunt Sarah (technically, it was her cats who were the bad guys).
13. Are there any fairytale couples who ended up not working out? Snow White and Prince Florian (there’s a reason she’s a reporter and not Queen- they conflict a lot. He rules his own kingdom and she persues her own interests). Belle and Adam (they don’t act like themselves from the movies- headcanon he didn’t really change and she hates it, but is still trying to help him do better (a la OUAT)).
14. Could King Adam be viewed as a villain? Yes. He locked up kids, and if you count the diaries as canon, he was in charge of Isle relations with Belle. He knew there were kids and left them.
15. Have any of the Core Four remained in contact with their parents since the coronation? Canonically, Mal kept Maleficent in her room, so yes. Neither her relationship with her mom and her dad is not entirely healthy. Jay and Evie tried, but felt themselves regressing after their parents yelled at them and degraded them. Carlos also tried, but had a panic attack and stopped after a minute of trying.
Descendants Reblog Game
Here is a list of random Disney Descendants questions that I’ve always wondered about. In order to play the games, reblog this post with your personal answers to the questions listed. This isn’t a matter of who is technically correct and its just for fun to see everyone’s opinions and ideas.
