Which Vitamins?
There are a lot of recommendations for which type of vitamin you’re meant to take for health and weight loss but it gets quite confusing. Here’s my summary!
Most Important:
Vitamin A: teeth, bones, skin, immune system, vision, internal organs.
Vitamin B6: boosts metabolism, nerves, liver, skin, eyes, energy.
Vitamin B12: metabolism, energy, reduces stress.
Vitamin C: protects cells, skin, blood vessels, cartilage, wound-healing.
Vitamin D: helps absorb calcium and phosphate = bones, teeth and muscles.
Vitamin E: skin, eyes, immune system.
Vitamin K: blood clotting (wound-healing), bones.
Less Important:
Vitamin B1 (Thiamin): metabolism, nervous system, heart function.
Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin): skin, eyes, metabolism, nervous system.
Vitamin B3 (Niacin): metabolism, skin, nervous system, lower cholesterol.
Vitamin B4 (Adenine): tissue formation, immune system, antioxidant.
Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid): metabolism, hormones.
Vitamin B7 (Biotin): metabolism, hormones.
Vitamin B9 (Folic Acid): tissue growth, cell function, red blood cells.
