It’s funny so many people disliked Mass Effect Andromeda because of Ryder (among other issues) because (just focusing on the Ryder complaints) - Shepard whether Paragon or Renegade would have mad respect for Ryder. After all Shepards main thing is they get the job done and Ryder however you played them, pragmatic, soft hearted, sarcastic whatever gets the job done.

Honestly so happy Andromeda was my introduction to mass effect because I usually never play shooters (literally fallout was the only shooter I have ever played before this) and if I didn't see a REALLY nice edit of jaal I would have never even touched this franchise and I actually really liked Andromeda even though it's not the best game so I'm really happy I picked it up and played the other games because of that
