"I always thought you went to University of Hawaii" 

"I tell people that I go to UH because I'm too shame of telling them I go to CUH" 

I didn't write that confession but I sure did feel the same way at some point in my life there. But over these years I felt like I actually belonged in a family. You don't just make friends, you make a family. Supportive, crazy, loving, caring, etc - all these words fit these amazing people I met there. They've been so supportive and always willing to be there for you. It felt great to have people make you laugh when you're upset or cry with you when you needed to. That's a great feeling.

It felt great not to have parents want to control your life, felt great to decide for yourself.. 

I know it's going to be so different back here - true concrete jungle, city life.. can't feel the kindness here, it's a very strong reality life... BOOM! here it is, can't avoid it... 

My dad called me today and I felt so much pressure - just as if a big rock was thrown on my chest... He's trying to help me find a job... But i don't know why it feels so stressful.. It's like he's helping me but he has something he wants me to do.. I don't know... It just... I don't know how to communicate with him, I've learned so much about communication over these years yet I don't know how to communicate with my dad... wow... I give him answers that I don't intend on giving because I want to get off the phone, I don't want to talk to him.. that's not good... 

I've always thought I had a happy family - great parents (i have no trouble with my mom)..., great relatives... I guess not.. to have people throw harsh words at you? I guess it's real life..

Socializing is as exhausting as giving blood. People assume we loners are misanthropes, just sitting thinking, ‘Oh, people are such a bunch of assholes,’ but it’s really not like that. We just have a smaller tolerance for what it takes to be with others. It means having to perform. I get so tired of communicating.

My life here..

I might've not said it all today... I've learnt SO MUCH from everyone here - love, courage, passion, strong, braveness and MANY MANY more!! I'm pretty sure if it weren't for the people here I wouldn't be the person that I am today.. Just when I wanted to go no where on campus but lay in my little black hole, i knew that i have gained a HUGE family here.. it's this family that pulled me out of this black hole and showed me how important it is to just be yourself... don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.. know how much you all mean to me... A LOT... 

i've done SO much while being here, i never thought i would tell ANYONE what my heart was thinking and how things were bothering me or what not.. and i did... started from the bottom and now am here <3

for those of you that are still here... show people what you have learnt during your time in this school... we're not here to say WE can save you.. it's NOT like that... it's a sense of belonging and family and friendship and MANY MORE that you get from here.. that extends beyond here... OUTSIDE this school... OUTSIDE THIS COUNTRY!!! it's not goodbye, it's see you later...

i'm a cry baby. Cry super easily. Never refused to admit that. But I've learned to hold it down this semester. Finally came to realize that there are many more things in this world and crying will not solve the situation. I have no reason to cry, I'm blessed. 

But today, I started bursting out in tears. Couldn't stop. All because of this: 

I've recently had this random feeling of unappreciated. To make this worse, I've been feeling like a bitch too. I feel like i'm failing while running this club. And then I went to this wednesday speaker session. The speaker talked about building a loving community and led this one exercise for all of us to do. She had us describe our true emotions using the weather - e.g. if you're happy then maybe your weather would be sunny? 

All along her talk i already wanted to cry inside - if you know: I hear heart-felt talks and I can't stop crying. It was a pairing up exercise and she came to be my partner. She looked me in the eyes, while I told her that I was too nervous about the competition, and said : "you have so much emotions that will help you. be confident!" and various affirmative words... 

I walked out and started to tear already. For someone who has never met me? I broke down...i know i'm weird.. but still..
