After enduring a brutal defeat, Bowser has seemingly turned over a new leaf. The citizens of Mushroom Kingdom are wary of this, but a peace treaty has been signed between the Mushroom and Koopa kingdoms and a celebration will be held to commemorate the alliance of the once opposing kingdoms.

Luigi has been tasked with personally delivering the invitation for Princess Peach’s ball to celebrate their newfound peace to King Bowser. During his time at the Koopa King’s castle when the chance to get to know each other better arises, a shift happens between them. Unintended openness, kindness, the telling of secrets, and more is revealed, and they realize that perhaps there is more to the other than meets the eye.

I don’t know much about Mario. I didn’t grow up on the games or anything. Because of this, I am sure there will be many things that aren’t accurate in this fic, but I am writing this for fun so I hope others enjoy it too even if it is inaccurate.

Here's my piece for @apathetik12 as part of the @supermariospringshowers art exchange!

One of the prompts they gave me was "Stargazing", which immediately made me think of my favorite spot on the Comet Observatory! There's something about a patch of grass on an otherwise mostly mechanical ship that looking out to the exact planet it's mimicking that gets to me. Something about being so close to home yet so far away.

Anyways I hope you like this piece! I had a lot of fun making it ^^.

I knew going into the piece that I wanted to play with alluding to stained glass, which you see in the texturing and how I designed the lily of the valley flowers. The scene pseudogag described wanting as their prompt sounded really pretty, so I hope I did it justice.

HI HI! Here’s my addition to @supermariospringshowers ‘s gift exhange!

My giftee is @illdothehotvoice and I chose the prompt “Princess Peach in a spring inspired dress”

For a bit if context first, I did have a plan originally, then, it took me so long to color it that I forgot the original plan and made the dress based off of a flower. Worst part? I CAN’T REMEMBER THE TYPE OF FLOWER. For all I know, I made this shit up. So, if the dress looks terrible or if it doesn’t make any sense, blame my mind for not looking up references when I came back to finish this the other day. Other than that, this was so much fun!
