Getting myself pumped to see the third sonic movie (even though I have seen a few spoilers' curtesy of others sharing it on social media- which just as me more excited to see it)

I decided to draw "project Shadow" where we get that small snippet from the ending of the second movie. But I drew him in my own human/gijinka form/design. I really love the futuristic sci-fi aesthetic, so drawing him in a human form like this and adding some extra tech gadgets -i.e. the blood pressure tube on his arm and the stick-on heart monitor. those little details were inspired by some of my other fave films such as ghost in the shell.

I will also note that, though in my drawing here he still has his inhibitor rings on his wrists and ankles although he is not wearing gloves or socks/shoes.

This was a nice way to start off my art for this year, and I can't wait to create more amazing work this year.

I just had to also draw the scene from Barbie in the nutcracker, with Livian and Atlas again of course, where the nutcracker (Atlas) turns back into the prince and Clara (Livian) is revealed to be the sugar plum princess 🫅👸🍬🩰

I think Livian looks really cute with wavy hair and kept some of his armour design in his little attire (i.e., the puffy shoulder blade decals)- but I also kept his piercings in as well.

A watercolour gouche screen cap study from one of my favourite Barbie movies as a child, Barbie, in the nutcracker - but instead using my two OTP lovebirds Livian and Atlas 🩰👑

The scene, of course, is where Clara (in this piece, my girl Livian) runs over to her nutcracker (Atlas in this case), feeling sad and heartbroken seeing him all battered and dinged up. He tells her not to worry, "I'm just wood." And as a tear rolls down her face she says how " we both know your are more than that", mentioning the prince by name as she kisses his cheek- which breaks his curse and transforms him back into a prince.

And the last of my Christmas Rogue drawings, featuring my sonic OC/ Wave's childhood bestie who is like a sister to her, Coral.

Coral is decorating the Babylon air ship with tinsel, baubles and the most extravagant tree she could find.

Coral had a small Christmas candy clip in her hair, underneath her long sleeved fluffy trimmed sky blue jacket, she wears a light blue and white crop shirt. Around her neck hangs a long dangly red gemmed pendant. She has white and sky blue split gloves with fluffy trimming. She wears a pair of thick wintery vermillion shorts with a fluffy trim, like Wave she has a clip with dangly bauble gadgets and also a string of lights she uses like a lasso also.

Underneath her shorts she wears magenta candy-striped tights.

Christmas Rogues, drawing number three, the technical genius, Wave the Swallow.

She has a chain full of Christmas bauble spy gadgets and she's challenging you to a snowball fight.

With wave's Christmas attire, she wears a soft fluffy white Christmas headband decorated with a spring of holly and red ribbon. Underneath her fluffy trimmed three quarter sleeved plum cropped jacket, Wave wears a white strapless crop shirt.

On both hands she wears white and red split coloured gloves with fluffy trimming, on her purple diamond buckled belt she has a keyring filled with dangly bauble gadgets and the other side she has a string of lights that she uses like a lasso.

Wave has long split ended pants- one side plain white- the other candy striped.

Once again, I had a blast drawing this of Wave- I love her pose and her attitude of her being all 'bring it on' with a snowball ready to go in her hands.

The second of my Christmas rogue drawings featuring Storm the Albatross.

Here we have Storm carrying around a bunch of beautifully wrapped gifts- seems like someone has been busy doing some Christmas shopping.

With his attire design he wears a light grey long sleeveless mesh shirt (revealing his hair chest underneath), over the top of that he wears a sleeveless mid grey jacket with a very fluffy trim. A two-toned yellow and gold pompom beanie- with fluffy trim.

He also wears golden tanned gloves with fluffy trim. On his belt he ha a chain with small Christmas decal charms that when pulled off the chain turn into life-sized objects that are a bit like spy equipment. He adorns two different patterned long shorts- one side two toned grey candy stripes and the other golden tan.

I loved drawing my Gijinka design of Storm again- I adore his little braids in his hair- it really suits his personality/character.

This year I decided to do something fun and do some Christmas inspired drawings/ attire for the Babylon rogues (Including my girl Coral).

The first one of Course is Jet, I used most of my original Gijinka /human design as the base for his outfit, but then I took a wintery Christmas twist in the gloves, belt and pants.

With my Gijinka design give him a mesh shirt- which reveals the hair he has on his chest (like his bird self has). Over the top of this sleeveless cropped mesh shirt he wears a large fluffy collared/ lined pleather puffer jacket. The gloves I gave a fluffy trim and put the colours of his usual cuffs on the gloves themselves.

with his belt- I gave the overhanging a little Christmas touch- aka the candy canes. And taking inspiration from the candy canes I gave his pants the candy stripe look using two tones of green.

I find the overall design really worked with the concept- Which here is that he's off to go probably steak more hidden treasures and fill up his Santa sack dawned over his shoulder.

Eitherway, I think this came out great.

I actually haven't drawn Eggman properly before, so here's a fun little Christmas piece I did of him yelling at Orbot and Cubot on his wrist com making sure they got the last of his Christmas shopping.

This was from a little while back (about two or three months ago-during my study, hence why I'm sharing this now)

Here is a drawing of my Human/ Gijinka design of Jet- he is about 24 in this. I couldn't help but do a cheeky one of him where he is flirting with Wave's childhood friend (my OC) Coral.

And here is the other drawing featuring my girl Coral in her human/gijinka form- she is also 24 years of age here.

After being told by jet that he has "treasure" for her, Coral decides to respond to his cheekiness by flirting back at him saying: '

"Oh, a gift for me? So which one do I get to keep?

I liked the idea of her doing this back as she kinda has a thing for him.

Either way, I love how this came out together alongside the one I did of Jet.

More drawings from back in October- this one of course featuring my MH oc's Fabiola and Gadiel 🧡💚 🍬🍭

Taking inspiration from the sweet scream doll line and having this urge to draw the two with fun short hair dos, I decided to do candy inspired looks for the two.For Fabi, I designed her look around Jube jelly lollies- I like how they look like sea sponges- and kinda connect back to the idea of how she is part sea monster-part slimey swamp monster.

And for Gade, I designed thier look around Taffy candy- mostly drippy gooey taffy-I purposely did the drippy gooey look as it has that 'after being electrocuted/shock look'- again taking inspiration from the fact that Gade was brought to life by electricity.

These were fun to draw and I hope to do some full body sketches of them sometime.

And back when I drew Janine, I also drew Egon- I absolutely love their interactions together in the first movie - and a bonus doodle of the evil slime from the second film 👻

Some drawings of Janine from the original Ghostbusters I did back in October- yes I was watching the first and second movie inbetween working on my exegesis back then.

Either way, I really love Janine in the first , so I did a bunch of fun little doodles of her in a more stylised cartoony style/my semi-realistic-comic book style 👻

And here is my human/ Gijinka drawing of my girl Matilda in her summer wear, as I mentioned in the last one.

The idea behind this one is that Matilda was on her way back to the beach house to meet up with her family after an early morning of extreme water sports.

Although as she's making her way back, someone she's beaten so many times in races has run up to her, and as she continues to walk, challenges Matilda to race them. Matilda just rolls her eyes and keeps walking on. This person keeps consistently following and nagging, so Matilda stops and sighs, then says :

" Honestly, racing someone like you isn't worth it. Besides, I'm on vacation."

then Matida pushes her sunniest over her eyes, grabs her surfboard, and walks away, leaving this person standing there, shouting back, "Fine, but I'll race against you real soon.

But yeah, that's the little story behind this one . I always love drawing Matilda in her human/gijinka form- especially showing off her tattoos - the ring with flames is supposed to be a homage to that idea that the Babylon rouges are descendants of genies.

Anyway, I hope you guys like it, and I hope to draw more of Tilly and her family in their gijinka forms soon.

And Finally I get round to sharing this little drawing (done back in late May) of my Fireman Sam OC Rhian and of course Arnold.

The idea behind this one is that Rhian was teaching the cadets about pool/ water safety- and today's class was about what to do if someone was struggling to swim or needed help in the water.

And of course, besides Trevor, a certain someone else had come along with the cadets, as back up to help keep an eye on them. During the first part of the class, they focused on a little bit on some basic water safety, then later that morning as the cadets sat on the bench having a small break, Rhian went over to Arnold and asked if he'd wanna be the drowning swimmer for the swim class drill since they didn't have a rescue dolly.

And although a little surprised she asked him, he was happy to help out- And so went on to be the 'drowning swimmer' in her little demonstration.

So yeah, that's the idea behind this little number. And just a heads up the purple line across her nose is supposed to be the coloured zinc sunscreen stick.

and of course, he's saying good morning to Rhian (because he "likes" her), and by chance he caught a glimpse of her running past (BTW Rhian is my fireman Sam OC, I made as a love interest for Arnold).

After mentioning I would share her and then redrawing her again finally over my break, here is my Fireman Sam OC Rhiannon (prefers to be called "RHIAN") Dafis. Of course, here I drew her in the ocean rescue suit- I see it as if she just came back from a rescue and then didn't take off her uniform since she was teaching an ocean safety class by the sea and she had that feeling one of her students would get themselves in a little trouble ^^

Rhian is twenty-five years of age, she moved from Newtown to PontyPandy when she was offered the position of head lifeguard and co-coast guard at the ocean rescue centre.

She is a fully certified/ Trained life guard (both pool and ocean) and coast guard. her other qualifications include: Olympic level swimmer, champion surfer, first aid, water rescue and certified scuba diver

Although she moved to Ponty Pandy, she occasionally goes down to Newtown to see her older brother Owen and her father- or they come down to visit her in Ponty Pandy. Rhian is friends with everyone- although she likes Arnold as more than a friend (yes, when I created Rhian, I made her as a love interest for Arnold because he seems to be left out a lot in the series lately- And also, I love that idea of them being opposites water and fire)

Some doodles of my fave boy from Boruto, none other than Iwabe Yuino 🍛✨️

This was also a good opportunity for me to test out a new set of alcohol based makers I purchased at the same time.

One of course featuring a slight redesign of a sexy jutsu one I did as well. I hadn't drawn him in a while, so it was nice to draw him again. I do plan on drawing more of Iwabe and the rest of team 5 again soon.
