We had seen this problem coming from miles away and solved it for longer than Suzanne has decided on her name; stop expecting us to drop the ship now because the books concluded something we have always known before.

“Oh but he doesn’t need love to heal” yes, but as a healed man, he can have love if the opportunity is there, and getting upset because we decided he doesn’t have to end up alone and drunk with only Katniss, Peeta and his hallucinations filling his days until he drops dead is absurdly off-putting. Coin’s line of thinking behind wanting to save Peeta over Katniss from the arena is sort of hilarious. I get that Peeta is better with crowd work and his words but … You think he’d trust you after you abandoned the girl who’s been his girlfriend in his head since he was five years old to the dogs? This is loverboy himself we’re talking about. Did no one brief you?

and quite like Katniss, he has a tendency to do and say whatever the fuck he wants, regardless of what he’s being told to do.

Reading my own fanfiction is basically just a rollercoaster of emotional whiplash.

20% of the time: “Hold on. I wrote this? This is fire. This is emotionally devastating in the best way. This scene is dripping with tension. I’m a literary perfectionist. Someone give me a book deal.”

80% of the time: “Straight to jail. Immediate prison. Why is everyone’s breath hitching?. I used the word ‘gaze’ three times in one paragraph like I was possessed. Did I think 'his eyes darkened' was profound? Why is everyone clenching their jaws? Why is someone whispering 'their name like a prayer' again?? No one talks like this. What is this dialogue. Why are there so many weird metaphors and em-dashes…”

Last book: (lol does fanfic count) "The Other Bennett Sister" by Janice Hadlow

I'm not even done with this book but i can't remember the last book i read before, so i'm working my way through this book. so far 10/10 recommend if you loved "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen and ever wondered what happened to Mary Bennet.

Last movie: "The World According to Garp"

I gotta say-not my fav. Robin Williams did a great job along with the attending cast (John Lithgow, Glenn Close, John Irving , Mary Beth Hurt, ect). I only watched it because Amanda Plummer (aka Wiress) was in it, and she also did a fantastic job for the literal two minutes she was in it.

Favourite colour: Forest Green

Spicy, sweet, or savoury: Savoury. I can't handle spicy and i'm starting to have very little taste for sweet.

Last show: "The Gilded Age"- i'm so in love with period dramas and when this came out- i was like- fck yeah i've been waiting for something to enjoy since Downton Abbey ended.

Current obsession: uuuuuhhhh - *blush* Wiress and Beetee (BEETRESS FOREVER)

Last search: Ian Shaw son of Robert Shaw "Jaws"

Looking forward to: My summer trip to a lake in August with my friends! we're staying in a hotel- its so nice!

It never fails to astound me how many people think Beeress never existed before SotR and are now absolutely scandalized to find that people ship them and have done so for almost two decades.

You’re acting like this context was anything but retroactive (and even if it weren't, would that stop us) and that we didn’t originally meet them as two equal, middle-aged adults with shared minds and a deep connective bond.
