I’ve been doing some weaving.

Been practicing with my spinning wheel. Trying to treadle and draft the wool was pretty disastrous so I'm practicing getting the feel for it by plying some acrylic yarn. Then I was all, I should ply it again! Not sure what will come of it but it's pretty neat looking.

Woo! The dinosaur blanket is mostly done I just need to weave in the ends, wash and block it!

Okay so this is my first big intarsia project. It isn’t quite how I want it, it’s not big enough for one, (oooh *that* gauge swatch) so I will need to tweak the pattern. Still! I think it’s pretty okay for a first go!

I don't know why I'm doing this to myself but I've some how put it in my head today that I'm not allowed to stop until this blanket is done. I have wandered off twice already today and now its after midnight (I get a late start anyway) but I feel like I can't do anything else or go to bed until this is finished.
