Starting over, from Mars this time.
There's a possible scaling issue with my first attempt, but I think that was a misunderstanding. The only way to know is to fabricate another Titan using established scaling, and then compare the two.
There are worse hobbies.
This is the first part generated with the bambu mini A1, and I completely love it.

necromunda
It's a start.
I finally decided to build and paint all the Necromunda stuff I've collected since the relaunch.
I'm taking a lot of inspiration from underwater shipwrecks, but I don't want to abandon the burnt out orange from the stock scheme.
It's a tight balance! Orange complements the sea greens and blues, but too much and it'l look like a Mexican restaurant.

This Quar's tank
I've started a tank for the Quar's War. It's mostly done already, but it still needs that flower and some numerical designations I think.
Maybe some weathering.

A small force for Deth Wizards, printed Bestiarium figures from the recent Kickstarter. Took about 20 minutes to paint (seriously) to this level.
I'm going for a loose watercolor and ink look because that's what Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark did and that's what works.
I'll do some basic highlights and some simple basing later tonight, and probably load a dozen more on the printer because these are wonderful.

I really need a better camera, but I've got what I've got.
I'm finally putting paint on these Vostroyans. They've been overdue since Cities of Death, but they'll fit in perfectly in Horus Heresy.
"But Vostroyans weren't in the Heresy!" But records were lost, and their aesthetic fits better than anyone else.

Started a "new" army today, an Imperial Navy ship muster for Horus Heresy using the Cults and Militias list.
It's an opportunity to roll all oddball guard forces I've collected under one navy blue banner.

They're still very in progress, but I love how they're shaping up.
Army Painter "Warrior Skin" is an excellent one coat answer to thee challenge of painting darker skin tones!

I finally got to try out 10th, and I need substantial practice.
Also, that sorcerer is probably going back in his box until 11th.

Here's something unexpected. Visited a friend yesterday who is very excited for SAGA and to finally use some Geeks he picked up. I thought the ancient Indians would make for a fun counter-force, but I've already got STL files for the Persians.
I backed the March to Hell Kickstarter for Geeks and Persians a while back. The 15mm figures were great, but the 28mm didn't match anything I already have.
So I shrunk the X and Y axis to 85% so they'd look less chunky-heroic, and I've got to say that I love it. I wonder if they were originally rendered in these proportions and then given an "aesthetic stretch" to make them identifiable as a brand.
Looking forward to seeing how they turn out, the Persians seem to be very colorful if my source images are correct.

Well, this is why you don't scale things when you're sleepy.
This hip assembly should be larger by about a third. Oops!

There's one reason to buy a 3D printer and I've started it. The verdigris looks better in person, and the orange needs another layer, but she'll get there.
