Y/n woke up to the noon day sun on her face. Sat upright on her California king bed, she reach up to run her fingers through her mousy brown hair only to find it still rock hard with hair spray and gel. Good to know her flapper curls held up at least.

The roaring 20's party last night was certainly the most tasteful of all y/n's birthweek ragers. In no way did that undermine it also having been the most most expensive. All the invites were lined with gold and the Olympic sized infinity pool was literally filled with champagne. That's might have been how y/n got so drunk, either way she couldn't damn well remember.

Making her way to the ensuite there was a knock on the door. Before y/n could answer, the door flew open and her mother enters unprompted.

"I have something extra special for your birthday today, sweetheart," mom says, "I honestly didn't even expect the deal to go through but let's just say a certain Simon ran out of drug money or something and really needed the cash."

"Okay mom, spit it out what did you buy this year?"

Maybe a cat would make a better companion for now. Heck maybe that's the present, hopefully a siamese.

Making her way down the stairs y/n paused in shock as she caught sight of her birthday present
