Memories, insights, and pictures from my life in London, beginning with my postgrad at the London School of Economics (LSE) and now venturing BEYOND! I'm Lily (23, any pronouns): a New Yorker at heart, no matter where life takes me

My very last sight as I left England said more than I ever could. Getting myself to Heathrow was perhaps the hardest thing I've ever done. What a life changing experience it was to live in London for 17 months. I hope to be back again soon. Until then, it's farewell from me on this blog

Passed gorgeous police horses in Catford when I did my last grocery shop in London 😍 The chestnut is overbent and the bay isn't even on the bit, yet the darlings made my week

I always rode the bus past this politically conflicted, ever evolving street art in SE London Original art: "Resting Witch Face" under portrait of current UK Prime Minister Theresa May frowning Graffiti over art: "I am a confused Tory not Satan" 2 months later: the "n" and "t" in "not" were erased, leaving a conveniently placed "o," thus making it, "I am a confused Tory of Satan" Tory is slightly derogatory British slang for a candidate/supporter of the Conservative Party
