The song I wrote ''You Talked In Your Sleep'' is about the age-old story of love gone astray. As a songwriter, I have heard many times about a man or a woman who has been giving their all in a relationship, only to find out later that the compassion was one-sided. This song will be about a young man feeling the pain of betrayal of what the love of money or greed can do.

Hello music fans. The song I wrote titled Hey Hey is another love song.

However, this love song between a young man and a young woman has a twist to the storyline. It is sad to say that love can be one-sided. One can get so wrapped up in a romance that if not careful, they could become blind to things around them.

Some singer-songwriters base their songs on events that have occurred to them. Fortunately, I have never experienced a one-sided love affair. However, I have talked to men and women that have. Those who have explained it felt like their heart had been broken. This song is for those who have given their all in a relationship only to find out later that they were being used.

On a happier note, I thank those who follow and encourage me with my music. I love all music, and because of this, I play different genres of music. When I write songs, it is like when I write paperback books. It is whatever comes out of my heart at the time.

The thing is, being a paperback writer of fiction, I am always thinking about what my book characters need to do next so my reader's interest in the book will capture their imagination.

However, being a songwriter/musician, my eyes and ears are always focused on hearing what others are saying concerning love for their wives, girlfriends, and the hardships of life in general. If I like what I am hearing then an idea of a song begins.

For All That You Do is another love song that inspired me to write.

It is about a man and woman who have fallen in love. One day, when the couple was out walking in one of her favorite places, they began to make plans for their future marriage.

They heard about a church being built near where they were walking.

The lovers thought how nice it would be to volunteer in the church building, provided they would be the first to get married there.

The song I wrote, titled, ''Big Daddy is On His Way Home,'' is a true story. Being a singer-songwriter-musician, just like the others such as I am, write their songs due to events that have occurred during their journey through life. Some years ago, during a half-hour lunch break at one of the local furniture factories where I had worked, a man walked up to my table and took a seat. The conversation was about him once being a truck driver and all the places he had been. He told me about the lonely times along with the exciting. He even mentioned that he missed the money that he made. I asked, why did you give it up? He replied that he had gotten married, had a child, and that being a long-haul trucker was not for a family man. I wrote this song for all the truck drivers across this land.

While writing this song, I posed the question of what makes a man. The responses I received came from both men and women and included a variety of interesting remarks. Some were humorous, most were serious, while others were silly or obscene. However, I did get some material from the survey to put in my song.
