A hand that wraps around your waist, blindly taps each surface,
Birthday candles on a multi-tier cake, slice a piece for each friend you make,
Foggy windows on a rainy day, louder, soothing tunes from a vintage tape-recorder

When Hozier said “All you have is your fire and the place you need to reach. Don't ever tame your demons, but always keep 'em on a leash” and when Nietzsche said “Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you.”

Perhaps I will become a figment of your imagination and maybe
Tere canvas te utrangi
spreading myself in a mysterious line on your canvas
Ya khore teri canvas dey utte
I will keep gazing at you.

“I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want. I can never train myself in all the skills I want. And why do I want? I want to live and feel all the shades, tones and variations of mental and physical experience possible in my life. And I am horribly limited.”
