初写真集の発売が 決定しましたーーー！ It’s been decided that I’m going to get a photobook~~~!

10年目にして、 卒業前にして、 ついに写真集を出すという夢を 叶えることができました(^O^) I’ve been in the group for ten years, but at last my dream of having a photobook before I graduate will come true (^O^)

10代の頃に、 漠然とハタチまでに出したいな〜 って思ってて、 だけど気づいたら20代になっていて。 When I was a teenager I vaguely wanted to have one before I hit twenty, but before I realised it I was already in my twenties.

半ば諦めかけてた夢なんです。 だけどアイドルの自分の姿を のこしたいなって気持ちは 諦めずにあって。 I’d basically accepted that this dream wouldn’t come true. But I always wanted to have something that would show what I was like as an idol.

今回、卒業前にその願いが叶って とても嬉しいです。 I’m so happy that dream came true before I graduated after all.

またひとつ、 悔いのないアイドル人生に。 It’s another step closer to ending my life as an idol with no regrets.

この年齢だからこそ、 いまだからこそ撮れた写真たちになってると思います。 I think that the photos that were taken reflect who I am now, at this age.

たくさんの方に手にとっていただけたら嬉しいです。 I really hope lots of people will get their hands on a copy.

今までの10年間、 少しでもわたしを好きになってくれた方全員に見てほしいな😌💭 I’d like everyone who’s felt even slightly interested in me over the last ten years to see it 😌💭

新潟開港150周年プレイベント NGT48お披露目2周年記念LIVEが 無事に終了しました。 Our 2nd Anniversary concert, part of the the pre-events for the commemoration of Niigata’s 150th year as an open port, ended without any problems.

炎天下の中、 一緒に盛り上がってくださったみなさん、 本当にありがとうございました😄‼️ Thank you everyone for enjoying it with us under the blazing sun😄!!

(体調は大丈夫でしょうか？日焼けもされたと思うのでアフターケアをしっかりやってくださいね🙌🏻) (Is everyone OK? I think you might have been sunburnt, please look after yourself if so🙌🏻)

この、2周年イベントの場をお借りして、 わたし北原里英、 卒業発表をさせていただきました。 I borrowed some time from this 2nd Anniversary event to make my graduation announcement.

いつか、自分にもこの日が来ることは 自分が1番わかっていたのに、 いざ、発表すると なんだか本当に卒業するんだ、、、って 不思議な気持ちに、なっています。 I knew better than anyone else that this day would come eventually, and now that I’ve made my announcement it feels strange; ��so I’m really graduating then”...

本当に緊張して、 声が震えてしまいましたが なんとか自分の言いたいこと伝えたいことは しっかりと話せた気がします。 I was really nervous, so my voice was shaking, but I think I managed to say everything I wanted to.

メンバーをはじめ、 ファンのみなさん、 驚かせてしまってすみません。 It was the first the members had heard about it, I’m sorry I shocked them and you, my fans.

でも、わたしはどう��ても NGTのメンバーみんなの前で言いたくて、 (本当はゆきりんにもいて欲しかったけど、お仕事の都合で😭💦) But I wanted to say it in front of *all* the NGT members together (Honestly I wanted Yukirin to be there too, but work....😭💦)

あと、ファンの方の前で言いたくて、 そして何より、 絶対に新潟で発表したかったんです。 I also wanted to say it in front of as many fans as possible, and above all, in Niigata.

なので今日を選ばせていただきました。 That’s why I chose today for the announcement.

たくさんのスタッフさんに協力していただきました。 本当にありがとうございました🙇🏻！✨ All the staff were really co-operative when it came to the announcement. Thank you so much🙇🏻! ✨

卒業は来年の春頃を予定しているので まだ時間はたくさんあります！ 最後までNGTのキャプテンとして 自分のできることをすべてやり切って、 悔いのない卒業をしたいと思います！！！ I won’t be graduating until next spring, so there’s plenty of time left! I want to do everything I possibly can as NGT’s captain, right to the very end, I want to graduate with no regrets!!!

NGTのみんなとも たくさん思い出を作りたいし ファンの皆さまとも たくさん思い出を作りたいし、 もちろん古巣の(笑) AKB48にも大好きな仲間がたっくさんいるから みんなとも思い出を作りたいです！！！😌✊🏻💓 I want to make lots of new memories with everyone in NGT I want to make lots of new memories with all my fans And I want to go back to my old haunts (lol), I have lots of close friends in AKB48 still, so I want to make lots of new memories with them too!!! 😌✊🏻💓

今日という日は 忘れられない日になりました。 Today is a day that I’ll never forget.

いまは、なんだかホッとしてるかも🙂🌙 I feel a little relieved now 🙂🌙

今年はどうやら団体で出るっぽいです。 自分たちでユニット組んで、 出るっぽいです。  We're allowed to get together and form whatever teams we want this year.

多分これ、 浴衣祭りの会場でサプライズ発表されたと思うんですけど、 わたしその時、見てなくて。 I think there was probably a surprise announcement about this during the Yukata Festival, but I wasn’t watching.

だからファンの方に教えてもらって知りました😂！💦 So I only found out about this when a fan told me😂 ! 💦

さすがAKBだな。笑 That’s AKB for you. Lol

Kitahara Rie Blog Translation 25/07/2017 - Higurashi no Naku Koro ni

今日、 ひぐらしが鳴いてました。 The cicadas were crying out today.

カナカナカナカナカナカナカナカナカナカナ… Kanakanakana....

夏���夕暮れ前の、 ひぐらしの鳴き声の雰囲気が 不気味でもあり すごい素敵でした The noise of cicadas crying out in the summer evening can be eerie, but I love it too.

もう1年以上前に撮影してた 『ひぐらしのなく頃に』 を思い出しました。 I thought of “Higurashi no Naku Koro ni” that we filmed a little over a year ago.* *Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is usually known by it’s Japanese name instead of “When the Cicadas Cry” so I kept it as is

今日のロケーションが すっごくひぐらしにぴったりで ひぐらしのあの世界観を思い出しました The location shoot I was on today was just like that time, so that drama’s world came to mind

NGTのみんなが、 初めてのお芝居であれだけ本格的にやらせていただいていたのが、羨ましくて嫉妬した、正直 To be honest, it was the NGT members’ first drama and they really got into it, I was a little jealous of that

ひぐらし、懐かしいなあ〜 I miss doing Higurashi~~

稲葉友くんと石垣佑磨さん ご一緒できてとても勉強になったし楽しかった！ It was really fun working with Ibana Yuu-kun and Ishigaki Yuuma-san, and I learnt a lot too!

素敵なスタッフさんに囲まれてて、幸せだったな〜 And I was really happy to be working with such great staff too~~

もう1年以上も前かな、 Was this already over a year ago?...

場所の再現率の高さも素晴らしかった！ It’s amazing how well I recall being here!

今回の自信作(？)は ビールで乾杯🍺✨ The thing I had most confidence (?) in was my beer toasting 🍺✨

だってさ、 乾杯って一緒に出来ないことだから だけど乾杯をできるって HAPPYなことだから 💓 Because you know, I can’t toast with you normally, so being able to do it with you was a really happy thing for me 💓

握手会をお休みしてしまってすみません... I’m sorry I won’t be appearing at the handshake event....

昨日の夕方から急に関節が痛くなり、 リハを抜けさせてもらいました。 Yesterday evening my joints suddenly started hurting, and I was exempted from our rehearsal.

家で寝てたらどんどん熱が上がって、 こわくなって夜中救急病院に連れてってもらいました。 病院で熱を測ったら 39.9℃でした... When I was sleeping at my house my fever rapidly increased, I was scared so I went to an emergency hospital. When my temperature was taken at the hospital it was 39.9℃...

平熱が低いのでこんな熱は初めてで。辛くて。 My normal body temperature is on the low side so I’ve never experienced this before, it was tough...

今薬で熱を下げて少し楽になってます。 Thanks to the medicine I took my temperature has reduced a bit and I’m more comfortable.

わざわざ足を運んでくださった皆さん 今日のために休みを取ってくれた皆さん そして今日を楽しみにしてくださった皆さんには 本当に申し訳ないです... For everyone who came specially, booked time off, or were particularly looking forward to today, I’m very sorry....

このまえ 大切なお友達と 可愛い後輩ちゃんが お誕生日お祝いしてくれました😍✨ A while ago I celebrated my birthday again with some close friends and cute juniors 😍✨

お花見も毎年一緒にしている いつめんでのご飯だと思ったら みきちゃんとちよりとあべまるちゃんが😍💓💓💓 I was with Miki-chan, Chiyori-chan and Abemaru-chan who I go with to see the cherry blossoms each year. And I go for food with them too 😍💓💓💓

結構本当にびっくりした😳😳 I actually was genuinely surprised 😳😳

みんなでまとめて誕生日の歌うたいました、 すごい盛り上がったよん😘 We all sang birthday songs together and had a great time 😘

あゆたろうのおうちは 2回目だったんだけど 相変わらずの居心地の良さでした〜💗 This is my second time visiting Ayutarou’s house but it was just as comfy this time💗

みんなで夜 怖い系の番組見て盛り上がったわ〜😆 We had fun watching a bunch of horror shows late in the evening~~ 😆

先日、 新潟のおともだち、 NGT48のお姐さんこと 中田エミリーさんの 結婚をお祝いしたよ🥂🌠 The other day I celebrated the marriage of someone who’s my friend in Niigata, and a big sister to NGT48; Nakata Emiri-san 🥂🌠

でも… わたしが結婚をお祝いするつもりが… But..while I wanted to celebrate her marriage...

誕生日をお祝いしてもらっちゃって…😌🙌🏻✨ I ended up receiving some birthday congratulations myself... 😌🙌🏻✨

お互い 祝いあうっていう 不思議な感じになりました😂😂👏🏻！笑 In the end we somehow ended up celebrating together, how strange 😂😂👏🏻! Lol

インスタに載せた日焼け止めミストは自分で買ったものだけど、 教えてくれたのはエミリーさんなの(๑>◡<๑) ロケの時にオススメしてくれて、それで惚れて購入したの〜！ The sunscreen spray in my Instagram post I bought myself, but Emiri-san is the person who told me about it (๑>◡<๑) She told me about it while we were on location together, so I bought some and I love it~~!

たかみなちゃんにもオススメしたんだけど、 すごい気に入ってくれて 買ってた😄💓 I also recommended it to Takamina-chan and she really liked it and bought some too 😄💓

いい女の匂いがするんだよね〜 💓 It gives off a nice womanly smell~~ 💓

ほんと HACCIは いいオンナってかんじだよね 💓 Hacci really lets you be womanly 💓

本日も握手会 ありがとうございました〜🙌🏻✨ Thank you for today’s handshake meeting too~~ 🙌🏻✨

今日は昨日と チーク&リップを 変えました💄! I changed today’s lipstick and blush from what I was wearing yesterday💄!

昨日は私服が赤色だったから 赤！なメイクだったけど 今日はピンクなメイクに してみました💓 Yesterday my clothes were red so I went for red! But today I went for pink 💓

チークを入れてる位置も 昨日とは違うんです (わかりづらくてすみません) I’ve also applied the blush in a different place today too  (Sorry if this is hard to understand)

内側にいれてます、だいぶ 内側でタテ目 I’ve applied it closer to the centre of my face so that my eyes look bigger

ピンクの練りチークに 最近お気に入りの 紫チークを重ねてます💜 As well as the pink blush, I’ve layered it with purple blush (which I’ve really been into recently)

ゆきりんの真似して買った Shu Uemuraの紫チーク！ (ケースあけるときに爪��リってやってしまった跡🤣💦) The purple blush is by Shu Uemura, I copied Yukirin and bought some! (The mark is from when I accidentally stuck my fingernail into it when opening the case 🤣💦)

これ透明感出てめっちゃおすすめです😌👏🏻💓 I really recommend this, it makes you look bright and clear 😌👏🏻💓

で、リップは And for my lips...

安定のDiorの色づきリップに CHANELのグロスです I balance things out with Dior lipstick and Chanel gloss

ピンク👏🏻💓 They’re pink 👏🏻💓

昨日とはまた違う印象にしてみました I went for a different look to yesterday

まあ目元は一緒なので あまり変わらないかもしれませんが…！💦 Although my eye make-up is the same, so I guess it’s not all that different...! 💦

夏なのに アイシャドウで冒険してないですね、最近。 It’s summer but I haven’t been too adventurous with my eyeshadow recently.

アイシャドウもそろそろ新調しなきゃ☝🏻😇💓 I need to change it up soon ☝🏻😇💓

わたしが最近 握手会でおもうこと This is something I’ve been thinking about recently at handshake events...

個別握手会というのは 私服で行います At individual handshake events we always wear our own clothes

なのでメンバーは みんな私服なんですが So all the members are wearing something different

たまーにかぶることが稀にありますが 大体みんな違う服を着てるじゃないですか？ (ファンの女の子も含めて) Sometimes members wear the same thing, but usually we’re all wearing something different, right? (And the same applies for the girl fans)

世の中に女の子の服 めちゃくちゃあるな？ って思ってます最近🤔🤔🤔笑笑 So I’ve been thinking “There really are loads of different clothes for girls in the world aren’t there?....” 🤔🤔🤔Lolol

あと、��んながどうしてこの服を買ったのか？ ってことを 最近かんがえる🤔🤔🤔 And I’ve also been thinking “why did she decide to buy those particular clothes?...” 🤔🤔🤔

どのタイミングで、 どの部分を気に入って 買ったんやろうな〜？ って考えちゃう🤔🤔🤔笑 And also “When did they buy them, what mood were they in?...” 🤔🤔🤔 Lol

ちなみに今日のわたしの私服の 買った決め手は セールでちょい安かったからです By the way, I bought the clothes I’m wearing today because they were cheap and on sale

あと いまブームの赤だからかな💗💗💗 And also because red’s popular right now maybe?💗💗💗

赤のワンピースに 赤リップ💄💋 I got some red lipstick to match my red dress 💄💋

だからすれ違う子の 私服を最近よく見ちゃう。 So anyway, I’ve been looking at the clothes other girls wear as they pass by.

全然見たことない服をみんな着てるから(当たり前) Because they’re wearing clothes I’ve never seen before (Obviously, I guess)

どこで買ったんだろ〜？ って思いながら見てます🤔🤔 And when I look at them I wonder “where did they buy that?....” 🤔🤔

今日は 音楽の日🎼🎶 Today I appeared on Ongaku no Hi 🎼🎶* *Ongaku no Hi is a TBS TV music show, it means “Music Day”, but there’s also another music show called The Music Day, on Nihon TV

AKB48としてだけではなく NGT48としても歌わせていただきました！！！ And I wasn’t just appearing as a member of AKB48, but as a member of NGT48 too!!!

青春時計🕰 うれしいな✨✨✨ Seishun Dokei 🕰 I was so pleased ✨✨✨

こうやって、 大きな歌番組でNGT48が歌えてること 幸せに思います😄💭 I think being able to perform on this TV show I love so much is true happiness 😄💭

今日はゆきりんの誕生日だったので NGTの楽屋でお祝いしました🥂✨ Today was Yukirin’s birthday, so we celebrated in the NGT dressing room

わたしが毎年感動してることなんだけど、 ゆきりんってTwitterでお祝いしてくれたメンバーたちに対して 『ありがとう』 一言だけで絶対返さないよね😌👏🏻✨ ちゃんと一人一人にメッセージを添えてお礼のリプを送るんだよ 🙂✨ This is something I notice every year, but when a member congratulates her on twitter she doesn’t just say ”Thanks” in reply 😌👏🏻✨ She says something specific to each and every person she knows 🙂✨

本当に優しいなっておもう！！！ She’s such a kind person!!!

ゆきりんのそういうところが素敵で、すきです😌🎀✨ I think that part of her is wonderful, it’s why I like her 😌🎀✨

新公演のユニットの4人 The four of us were in a unit for the new stage

🎤祈りはどんな未来も幸せに変える 🎤 “Inori wa Donna Mirai mo Shiawase ni Kaeru” (I think this would translate to something like “Prayers will make any future happy”?)

この前の生誕祭のときの メンバーだよ╰(*´︶`*)╯💗 We all appeared together for my seitansai╰(*´︶`*)╯💗

この日はあいにゃーが 出てくれました！！！ Even Ainya got to appear!!!* *Nanako is the regular member for the unit, I think Ainya can’t appear in every stage because she’s still only 15
