Avid players of club penguin when kids:

The whole of leo/need (they all payed the subscription, Ichika and Saki liked to try and create music in the dj thingy, Shiho liked the dance/rhythm game, Honami liked to collect puffles).

Haruka, duh, also payed for subscription. She liked the ninja games and the spy quests.

Airi, she also payed, but thats because she liked to get every single outfit in game, her penguin was always pink and always stylish.

Shizuku didn't pay but played, she had a blue puffle named Shiichan, she forgot to play for 3 months and when she came back her puffle was almost dead. She managed to insta lose at most games.

Kohane, she also didn't pay but she liked to grab all of the stamps she could get when free, sometimes paid for a month or two and went on a big rampage trying to get the paid ones.

An. She didnt pay either. She lost at least two puffles because she forgot to feed them. She liked the surfing game though.

(Touya didn't play as a kid but he would've liked the pizza making game)

Akito payed for that damned subscription, he and Airi were friends on club penguin without knowing because both of them would spend a lot of time on the shop making new styles, they "dated" on club penguin for a while and found out abt it bc of Ena. Ena never lets them let that go.

Nene. Of course. She also would go after every stamp ever.

Rui, he mostly played for Nene but he liked the jet pack game and the spy missions, a master at the ninja games too

Kanade, she also liked to make music in game, then showed it to her dad, also liked the finishing minigame.

Ena, rarely played but sometimes joined it with Akito or Airi.

Mizuki, who went out to get every puffle AND outfit AND decorate the house. Full ass collector, always walked with a pink puffle though.

Shiho knew what idols were like. After all, her sister was an idol, and she had an idol friend. When she met you, she had a different reaction to finding out you were an idol. A reaction that told her that you were special. Suddenly, she was binge-listening to all your albums and scrolling through your social media pages. "I just want to get to know y/n better," She said. It was definitely more. She loved you just as much as you loved seals.

Luckily for her, you were also enamored by Shiho. Even though you were known by your fandom for talking about seals a lot, it gradually got balanced by you talking about your friend Shiho. Your fandom quickly went to shipping you two, everyone knowing about your crushes on each other except you two.

"Our fandoms ship us together a lot," Shiho bluntly stated one day.

You almost spat out your water. "I- huh?? Really?"

"Yup, apparently you talk about me a lot, and they say we act like a couple."

Your face was heating up. "Ah, I see. I could tell them we're just friends, Shii."

"Are we though?" The question was enough to make you faint. She was right, are you two just friends?

*i remember there being a question last time about the ending line i think? of whose body it was saying the first had settled into and after looking at it again the context was pretty strong that it was yuu. this time, the text explicitly mentions both of them.

**it also while calling them monsters refers to them in a way that you can only refer to humans. which they are not consistent on because in previous chapters they've used nonhuman signifiers on both demons (definitely) and vampires (iirc)

in the 03 variant, saki still goes through the whole identity crisis thing due to how the homunculi work in 03, but in the brotherhood variant it's different.

for brotherhood, it's a real big derealization episode instead. she's spent years stuck inside a suit of armor without a physical body. she's also spent most of her younger years stuck inside a hospital room (or a room in the rockbell's when the train station got bombed during ishval). they start feeling way too similar to each other after some time. she's still stuck reading books about alchemy and being unable to do the normal things people her age do. don't get her wrong, she loves alchemy, but it starts getting repetitive when they're the only books at home and now it's the only thing she can think of that can get her and her brother's bodies back.

she's experienced minor derealization before but after lab 5, it's a very intense episode. she's convinced that everything that's happening is just a product of her mind, that she's still stuck inside the hospital. she's waiting for her brother to come for his weekly visit with the little show he prepared for her. she's waiting for her mom to visit so she can tell her stories and give her toys to help pass the time, to comfort her when she cries about everything hurting. she's waiting for iichan, hona-chan, and shiichan to visit her so they can talk about the music they'll make after she comes home. hell, she's waiting for dad to visit for once. none of the things that are happening are real to her. these past few years aren't real to her. can someone help her tell what's real?

thankfully she has the best older brother in the world and the most supportive friend group to tell her that yes, everything that's happened is real, but it's okay. they're going to get through this and they're going to get her body back. that's a promise.
