Does anyone think this scene... was specially added😞?

They could just draw Grim closing his eyes and spitting out fire, but adding this scene would make him look like a scary monster...

Could it be that they wanted to echo the intimidating feeling of Overblot Grim in the early stages of the game? Because there shouldn’t be OB Grim in the early anime?
