hi i don't think dan heng necessarily hates dan feng for the choices that dan feng made all those years ago, just that he is seen for being the same person who made those choices.
in terms of how dan heng is as a person, i think he would understand and probably honestly make even the same choice of his near and dear friends over just about anything. even back in penacony, he was more than eager to use the jade abacus because these are his one in a lifetime friends - much like the hcq were dan heng's once in a lifetime friends as well. jing yuan himself says that dan heng's care over others is "one thing that hasn't changed".

sorta disjointed but had to put them down somewhere LOL
man imagine how powerful dan feng must have been, to the point that water still lingers in his cell literally centuries after his passing. of course, this is still assuming that the one cell does belong to df ofc (tho i can't really quite imagine anyone else, since no one else in that document seems to match besides him)
at the same time, man how resolute of a person he must have been to remain silent through all that. some of dhil's story talks about the nails literally driven through him and the chains that kept him upright along with the dark and cold nature of the shackling prison itself.
he suffered greatly but at the same time, offered no protests to all the punishments put upon him. he readily accepted all the punishments and bore the consequences of his sin because he still saw the fallout of everything that resulted from it. he failed and his failures brought about more casualties, brought about another calamity, and tore their group apart even further - even if it was for a good cause and with good intentions, the results are what matters in the end. these are all truths that he knows and accepts so well, to where he would accept all of his punishments and ensure that he fully feels the impact of each and every one.
it's sad that duty coming before self was the philosophy that he had to follow for most of his life and one of the moments where he wished for something somewhat selfish and for himself - to be able to protect his friends and bring back what was lost - something like this happened.
although molting rebirth was the end sentence, i think he would have accepted plain ole death or just eternal imprisonment/torture.

caelus proudly presenting a full (kinda) bingo sheet. "do i win?"
Are You Dan Heng's Type? | Accepting
"Making a slightly smaller stamp mark instead of omitting it when it doesn't completely apply could be considered cheating." Though at least one of the items that Caelus made smaller wasn't... exactly untrue. Best not to give an inch, even if a light chuckle tickled the back of his throat at the apparent pride practically radiating off of the other.
"84 points."

@curiouskinetic replied to your post “This is great, she's going to get a good grade...”:
"You can say that again... actually now that I think about it-- you.. you were the first friend I made here."
"I know how traveling alone, especially when unexpected, can be. Leaving someone else to that considering all that seemed... unfair." The saying was friends could be found in all places and that held pretty true in this case.
"I only recently returned to the Luofu then, so I hope it was a positive experience despite that."

@wuhei replied to your post ““ easygoing is up for debate .... guess it's...”:
moze doesn't remember the last time that someone asked him this question. admittedly, he is a little taken aback. “ history .. ? hm, i've always been fascinated by the worlds we get to visit. makes me want to learn more about them, sometimes i do have the time to do just that, but there are other days where i don't get the chance. those days are truly regrettable. ”
"I can understand. I'm assuming you don't have as much time to prepare as we do on the Express or much forewarning about where either. I prefer to gather information from outside sources first, but seeing how a world is through experience is the most enriching." He paused, reminded of just how often a certain pink haired resident preferred to make her records on different worlds. At the same time, it was probably easier for March to do that in her capacity and not in the other's profession.
"Are there any worlds that come to mind? The Archives on the Express are plenty comprehensive."

There were some mixed feelings about the bingos to be had on this card, much like how the Express had mixed feelings about the Stelleron Hunters. In world where intentions weren’t always so black and white though, sharing some similarities with even an ambiguous group was bound to happen.
“You might be the first person to not check the animals box. Not a fan?”

“ easygoing is up for debate .... guess it's dependent on the situation. i don't really talk a lot, unless i have something to say. and .. if we are going by book smart, it's not my highest priority. ” despite his words, corvus scratches his cheek, adding on. “ .. i enjoy learning, but whether i retain the information or not, that's another story. ”

Also a surprising amount checked off on his bingo card as well. "The situation does carry a lot on weight when it comes to some of these. I understand a lack of flexibility depending on such." Being book smart was helpful sometimes, but practical knowledge was worth it's weight in gold often.
"That's fine. A willingness to learn is the first step." He paused. "Do you have specific areas you're more interested in?"

"A few companions were very... convincing about this, so I gave it a try." After all, relationships also included friendship and his one with Bailu was one that he treasured greatly. He chuckled a little at her little note about working on her battle skills.
"Of course, we're great friends, Lady Bailu. It's good to see you, as always."

"You did a good job, if that's what you're worrying about." Field expeditions... he assumed the other probably would like to go on some of those to find more of those rocks previously mentioned.
"Are you the type who likes to take samples back from an expedition or do you prefer to just make a log about it?"
#;answers#ruinlost#//dh vc theres some planets u can take as many rocks as you want to#//but theres other ones with some pretty strict guidelines in effect-
