It is annoying how much vitriole there is in activist spaces for people who have given up hope and feel like they cannot do anything and they get called lazy and helping the system when often they are disabled people who get burned the most and are least able to fight back and may not be able to do *anything* on your lists of 'easy ways you can help' and have to rely on others when others have chronically failed them in the past. Lets not call having dispair and giving up that anyone will help you laziness since that tends to only happen after you fought as hard as you fucking can and have been besten down since no one actually *likes* giving in and letting the system abuse them.

Watch your ableism in your activism. You can try to give hope to people without acting like the people who lost hope are lazy, idiots or assholes.
