it is not weird to be comforted by "childish" items.

surrounding yourself with things that bring you comfort is something that everyone does, not just regressors or dreamers. it's natural for "childish" things to bring you that comfort.

the literal purpose of pacifiers is to soothe. kids shows are meant to be fun and kind and easy to consume. sippy cups are naturally less stressful because they don't spill and they are easier for people with mobility issues.

so it isn't embarrassing or weird to enjoy using these things as an adult. they are serving their purpose, and they are making you happy. that's a wonderful thing.

whether or not your childhood was bad, whether or not your inner child needs healing -- if you find peace in "childish" things, that hurts no one. it is a perfectly valid way to cope.

Regressor!Burning spice headcanons!

-prone to tantrums. lots, and LOTS of tantrums. mostly from understimulation.

-he would loooooove stimtoys and sensory toys. fidget spinner FIEND.

-he tends to also, break, a lot of his toys! he plays a bit too rough, and tears/smashes a lot of his things by accident. of course, this is the catalyst for a lot of his tantrums/meltdowns.

-he'd love the dancing fruits

-extremely fussy eater, not picky, but fussy. if he doesnt want to eat something, or he just feels a certain way, then you WILL know.

-doesnt have a set cg, due to embarrassment, lack of people close to him, and the fact a lot of people wouldnt be a good fit due to getting overwhelmed

-surprisingly doesnt hate naps, IF, he has a routine for them.

-nutmeg tiger cookie babysits him most. neither have the words for what he does, but both know that this is only between the two of them.

-do not let him play in dirt hes eating rocks and sticks and mud
