And that's on top of changing several aspects including elimating the multiple uncles that historically took T'chaka's place as in comics T'chaka dies at when T'challa's still a child. that Ramonda is only Shuri's mother, with T'challa's mother dying when he was a newborn. Also that there'sa bastard brother named Jakarra from T'chaka's infidelities & an adopted brother, Hunter, who is a white man that is placed in charge of the Hatut Zaraze (the comic version of the War dogs), though he secretly was hoping to be the next black panther (yep that Ryan gosling edited pic almost happened in 616). On top of this , it also is changing the fact that herb only works with the royal family to something anyone could theoretically eat (nescessating the burning of the herb garden & thus all of BP2's plotline for Shuri).

And that's leaving out the Minimizing Ross to a bit part , making W'kabi less intelligent (he's the head of R&D in the comics) & making Killmonger a proper heir to the throne, instead of an outsider who nearly died from the herb though he did soundly beat T'challa. It's one of those things that I feel the mcu and the world is worse off for all because they wanted to make it one family that seemingly was prefect in everyway until Zemo took T'chaka & the cousin T'challa never knew came after them.

All for a message about an outreach...that rings hollow when you realize nothing really changed for the general population outside wakanda for the mcu, black or otherwise.

There were also a lot of people in /r/greentext who claimed it’s perfectly okay for a movie about black people to heavily reference “black culture”.

Even though it’s the stereotypical, shallow-water, pandering, SocJus understanding of black history.

One thing I can't help but notice is that , N'jadaka was never explicitly against her giving into her desires to burn stuff down ...meaning it's possible he'd have been down for her teaming up with Namor.

Azure Striker Gunvolt isn't a Comcept title, it's developed by Inti Creates. Keiji Inafune's involvement was simply as "Action Director" as he put it in an interview.

And guess who is actually doing the dev on MN9? Inti, guess who is more than likely going to be doing the Dev on Red Ash if everything goes smoothly?Also I don't trust the man at his word.

Issues with Red Ash from a consumer POV

1. Comcepts games have been all over the place. anyone play Yaiba? It's a basic and unsatisfactory game, mix that in with Azure Striker gunvolt and you have the notable major titles that comcept has done. 2. No Gameplay. outside one very simple mockup image which shows very little outside of "yes it will be a third person shooter", nothing relating to gameplay in terms of actual Ui or combat has been shown or talked about in great detail. If this weren't someone like inafune I'd think most people would be hesitant to back. 3. The initial goal is basically 1/4th the game. If you notice the first stretch goal is to add another section of the map and there's two more maps shown to be connected to the initial map and stretch goal map. This is much like how one of the first stretch goals of MN9 were a full 8 bosses (it was going to be the megaman 1 style 6 bosses at first) 4.Deciding to kickstart this before seeing what money they make from MN9.the fact that in 2 months MN9 will be out and we'll be playing is an exciting one to be sure, but it almost feels like they're doing wayyyyy too much wayyyyy too soon. If they waited until reaction from mighty no 9 had come in, I feel like they wouldn't be so slow on the kickstarter(not even 400k as of this point) .... Though I now wonder if they are trying to get their money before everyone plays MN9 and some people walk away not feeling like it lived up to its promise, thus not wishing to back red ash. 5.the fact that they're asking for nearly a Million dollars and MORE. Now the game's starting goal is to be 800 k...Then the animation is said to be shooting for 150k....however both already have stretch goals that are talking about majorly expanding the products. The film in fact has revealed stretch goals up to 2 million for a feature length animation. So we're talking about 3.2 million between the two projects at very least before we get into The farther out there stuff (like how playable call levels and coop more for Mn9 were far out goals). While this may be because the real cost of game development, it's more of a point on "why not wait to see what money comes from Mn9 that you can put towards this new project." as I believe that if everything goes smoothly the team can put aside 150k or more towards developing this new game if MN9 sells decently. But that's just me.

Everything Wrong with Marvel's Ant-Man (So Far)

Based on this (Spoilers! Duh!) and all previous public footage. -More downplaying Hank Pym’s importance/roles in things: First, he’s not a founding avenger (even in a support role), like he has been in literally almost every other version of marvel where the avengers or an avengers equalivant group is made. Secondly, he from all reports is NOT connected to the Ultron program, Like he is in almost every other version of Marvel (some recent versions include Stark on part of the creation, but it’s mainly Hank). Now, he didn’t create the Yellowjacket persona or suit, he isn’t an active hero when Scott becomes a hero and he’s literally a support role for ant-man.

-Downplaying the Pym particles: A lot of talk about Ant-man’s/Yellow Jacket’s (and possibly the wasp’s?) powers have been tied directly to a suit, not the particles. Why is a problem? The Pym particle a subatomic material that once in jested enough...you don’t need the suit or anything as your body starts producing it.

-Making Cross into the the typical Pupil gone evil: It’s a rather lame change just to introduce an evil Pupil for a character who was originally completely unrelated to Ant-man’s legacy besides a run in with Scott Lang. Also, WHY NOT RITA DEMARA!? or better yet have it revealed it’s Hank having a mental break (Like the comic wwhen it’s revealed Hank is Yellow Jacket)? Wouldn’t that make some really big waves of mind f***ery that would cause with the audience and press to applaud it? -Hope instead of Janet: The fact Janet is going be at most an extended cameo and dies before Hank makes the full suit (Douglas has said this) is a spit in the face to anyone who likes Ant-man’s Legacy. On top of that it misses an opportunity to have a strong female companion who is a bit older and in control. Imagine if someone like Meryl streep was revealed as Trendsetter, Fashion Designer and scientist Janet Van Dyne and along with Hope was doing big moves on a less than super level? It’s another missed utlizing the stuff from the comic.

-The comments said by Mr. Wright. Namely that  "For the one percent of people who are like, 'Wait, Hank Pym would never do that!' there's 99 percent going, 'Who's Hank Pym?’ So, to me, the source material is great but it also frees you up to be like: I'm going to make a movie. ”.Mind you I’m okay with some liberties but when you make a film, but if you’re considering something that you know that 1% will be questioning, why do it? why not do something that you know fits the character with your own spin?

-Seemingly No going big: Ant-man is known for shrinking....but also known for growing and not just back to normal size but BIGGER. It’s been confirmed that we’ve seen a piece of the final fight (click the link at the top if you want to know) So I’m now wondering if they’re ever going to go big during this film? -Smart people doing dumb things: During the trailer we see Darin Cross’ character stand there as a (toy) train comes at him to hit him... He’s small enough that it appears to be a threat.... but I got to question....Why didn’t he fly? or Better yet...why didn’t he revert to normal size?  I can understand maybe the suit is on the fritz but taking a hit from a Train seems much. - “Can we change the name?”...it’s a lame joke, it’s gonna be through out the film, and from the trailers going to be a t least brought up twice how “lame” it is. I understand it is a kind of lame but it’s also one of those things that I feel like “Oh well this sounds stupid” after having a hero named Iron-man(which it’s more of a gag that it’s not actually Iron) running around... and saving the world at least 3 times (I don’t count villains Iron man 1 or 2 as really international threats) makes the whole excuse go out the window. These are things that make me not excited to even think about seeing this film, It may go on to be another GotG sized hit for Marvel, but I’m not sure if this is an Ant-man that I as an ant-man fan want. Funny because, I feel a lot of these problems I have would have been fixed if they went Eric O’Grady focused instead of doing Hank and Scott, especially as I felt O’Grady fit Wright’s raunchy type of humor while still being so much fun.

Thank you for this as a fan of the character who feels like that part isn't what we should focus on, we should focus on the fact he is trying to get better and has removed himself voluntarily from the situation. Also he's done nothing but try to do things to try and help his own guilt regarding it Fun fact: He wished to avoid marrying her to begin with and only married her in the middle of a mental snap.

Stop it. Stop it right now because I will not spend the 2-year lead-up to the Ant-Man movie listening to you people repeatedly make this harmful and uneducated reference to one event that you are horribly misinterpreting.

why r u so unhappy about it

A few reasons:

It's not really pushing the genre forward, which is what I backed the kickstarter for and  what Inafune said it'd be.

It's basically become megaman 11 in terms of character design (Call is replacement roll, down to color scheme and the support character is literally Beat's colors) and from what they've shown us in terms of gaeplay, just now with X's dash mechanic tweaked.

The whole Diana issues, because naming someone who isn't a fan as community manager on a work that is all about the fans is somewhat a "huh?".

The fact everyone seems to be okay with just getting another megaman instead of pushing the genre forward.

Edgar right is gone off Ant-man?

Good, I’m sorry if you like his films and his vision for things but as a huge Pym fan, I didn’t see it working. 

He had stated several times no one gives a fuck about if you change Ant-man, because he’s so low tier of a superhero. Which to me set off Alarm bells right away, as changing any of them is one of the worse things you can do. Hank works because he’s Crazy and brilliant(he found a way to shrink and grow, created ultron and a way to communicate with Ants using brain waves!), Scott works because he’s smart in both street and books and always struggling, Eric Works because he’s a jerk ass who attempts to do the right thing but chickens out most of the time.

I’ve always felt Edgar Wright is right for an Eric O’Grady based Ant-man but, the second I heard it’d be a Scott focused movie with Hank in the mentor role, I felt a sickening feeling hit me. I’d rather see Ant-man pulled then watch as Scott and Hank make  comedic remarks back and forth ala Wright’s other movies. With Edgar leaving the project we may not see Ant-man any time soon but I felt like Edgar attempting to change Hank, Scott and possibly Cassie, would have been worse for those who love those characters….

If Edgar offered to make an O’Grady movie I’d be down in a heart beat. But this, especially how he casually said he’d change things and no one would care, felt like the right choice.

Why Gal Gadot needs to buff up

No because “That’s not how I imagined her” or any BS like that. It’s IN HER ORIGIN. See there are very few things I care about when adapting a character, as long as you keep true to their origins.

-Bruce Wayne, son of the rich Thomas and Martha, watches his parents get gun down, swears to war on criminals, becomes Batman after a bat crashes into his study. IMO you can make him Black, Asian, Spanish, have him Love men, be overtly insane, have him wield guns or make him kill. As long as he fits the first sentence, he fits Batman.

-Kal-El, from krypton, was sent by his father Jor-El to earth to have him survive krypton’s destruction. Kal is found by a couple, who are known by the Family name Kent, they name him Clark and raise him to have a strong moral compass and teach him to hide his powers. He hides himself as bumbling Clark Kent, field reporter at the daily planet, where he works with the firey Lois Lane and under Perry White. Again everything is fine if you change everything BUT THAT stuff and IMO you’re fine.

-Now on to Diana Themyscira, She was born to Queen Hippolyta by some means of godly intervention, she was raised along side the others as a princess. When Steve Trevor crash lands on the Island, there’s a contest to return him to America, Diana is forbidden to enter. She disguses herself and beats some of the STRONGEST and MOST AGLIE women on the Island for the right to return trevor (and secertly fulfill her wish of seeing the world outside of what she knows). She’s given Bracers and a uniform in the colors of the nation she’s visting to show good faith. THAT is what I feel is the core of wonder woman, I don’t mind that gal isn’t black haired, or Isreli, just that her character fits that. And, currently I look at Ms. Gadot and I don’t see the “strenght of hercules/demeter”(as she was supposedly born with), I don’t see a woman who can take down the strongest and most aglie women in Themyscria.

All I ask is simply that she’d buff up in name of Charles Moulton’s memory(Aka William Moulton Marston), is that too much?

Frozen headcanon

Every other child in the Arendelle royal line is born with a power, but never exactly the same thing. Meaning the King possibly has a sibling that has a power(Which you could reason is who he was sailing off to see when he died.) that and Anna's first born will have a gift along with Elsa's second child. Reasoning comes from the King knowing who to see about magical powers and related incidents, just not specifically what to do about ice.
