You can absolutely join! I want all women to learn to play chess because it’s such a confidence boost. I want to support all women, not just those who live their lives exactly as I would.

I’m also going to try to keep the chess server as discourse free as possible and especially discourage unwanted criticism about how we each live our own lives. I really don’t want the Radblr separatism discourse to interfere with learning and supporting each other.

Also, I don’t want anyone to feel like they need to pretend to be something they’re not in order to learn chess with us. I’m advertising this on Radblr because I truly want this to be women only, and this is the only place that will actually respect that lol.

Would anyone be interested in a radfem chess server on discord? You don’t really have to identity as a radfem; it’s more important to me that the server would be women only. I know that a lot of women are put off from chess because it’s so male dominated and that’s a damn shame.

All experience levels are welcome. I will teach you to play chess.

It may take me a week or two to set up because I’m not so familiar with setting up servers and I want to make the security and interface water-tight. I just want to gauge interest now.

If another radfem wanted to help me mod that would be great. I would also like some advice on how other radfem servers handle security.

DM me if you’re interested, and it would be great if you reblog for visibility. My finals end on Tuesday so I may respond slowly until then, but I want to put this out there now.
