80 Young Adult Books by Black Authors
Supporting black authors is something that I definitely need to start doing more, so I鈥檝e compiled a list of 80 YA books by black authors. I鈥檓 putting the ones that I鈥檝e read at the top in bold, and the rest will be books that I have looked up and have put on my list to read. I can鈥檛 do much to change what鈥檚 going on in our world right now, but I can do my part to support the black community in any way that I can. Biphobia really be disguising itself in new ways huh. I'm seeing girls all the time be like "I'm bisexual but I hate that I'm attracted to men" or "I wish I just wasnt attracted to men" and I'm really not here for it. This is just enforcing the idea that strictly gay people are superior in the LGBT community which is an enormously harmful stereotype
