My new book Sabrina comes out today. 

There will be a release event at Quimby’s in Chicago this Thursday, the 24th. I’ll be having a conversation with my friend Jessica Campbell and signing books.

I’ll be a guest at CAKE the following weekend, where I’ll be on a panel again with Jessica Campbell, Lilli Carré and Fiona Smyth.

And on June 10th I’ll be at Printers Row Lit Fest in Chicago on another panel with Hillary Chute, Adrian Tomine and Chris Ware.

Gouache on cardboard. Not really sure what it means...painted this a few years ago. I was having an anxiety attack as I recall it. There's a statue of a woman in a forest, with a shadow of a falcon hovering over her. Then there's a weird spider alien creature guarding a cartoon head figure stuck inside a web. Though I really appreciate my use of the fan brush in the foreground there, I just couldn't stand it anymore.
