So I used to have a Russian friend who had a pretty thick accent and like a lot of Russians tended to eschew articles. She would say things like “Get in car.” And stuff.

Well one day this asshole who had been kind of tagging along with us asks her why she talks like that because it makes her sound dumb and I still remember her response word for word.

Question:

Why do people ship real people? Like I’m genuinely curious as to why there are people out there who ship real people (generally celebs) together who are not together and often not of the orientation where they would be together. I’m not trying to hate on anyone, but I truly don’t understand it. I understand shipping in general with fictional characters as a way to explore the relationship further, but crack shipping and shipping real people is beyond me. What is the appeal?

The police need to be defunded and ICE needs to be abolished. Unfortunately, there is no current U.S. presidential candidate advocating for either of these things. They do not need any training or reforming. They do need to be prosecuted immediately.

This is unconscionable. People need to go to prison over this. Don’t tinker around the edges — abolish ICE. Completely.
