Chibi Dragonoid A mix between sentai-look and rider-look character. I don't actually know what did I make. But he looks cool anyway, so I decided to finish him. I'm a huge fan of robe outfit ever since I saw Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh wears one. Made even more when Kamen Rider Wizard also used one. I put scales on the armor as the rule of cool. But it ended up being full blown dragon based character. The head crest is inspired by Nicol Bolas (I recently jumped into the fandom of Magic the Gathering). I also love asymmetrical design of recent Kamen Riders (started from Kamen Rider Gaim, I think). Hibunny I don't actually like Scorbunny that much. Out of the 3 starters of Galar, he's in the 2nd position. The first one is of course the grass monkey Grookey (it's the 2nd time I prefer the design of Grass Starter, after Mokuroh). ((SPOILER ALERT)) But due to the Pokemon 2019 anime, I grow to like him more. And the latest episode marks the last appearance of him. Well, he evolves into Rabbifoot (or Rabboot) after learning how to use a fire move. Yes, despite him being Fire Starter, he didn't have any fire move this far. Relying only on Quick Attack and Double Kick. Gou is such a horrible trainer. Even worse than Satoshi. ((BIG SPOILER AHEAD)) And in the latest episode too, he leaves Gou for good after evolves. Might be just a temper tantrum though, considering how bad Gou treated him while he tried his best to learn Ember (thanks to Darmanitan's provocation). Not to mention Scorbunny does all the hard work even before Gou decided to make Scorbunny his first Pokemon. I wonder how the relationship between them would be fixed. Sunrise Stained Glass I made 2 variants of the lineart because the one with single weight lines looks way flat and has no focus. By making the lines vary in thickness and weight, I can show which one is the focus and which one is the details. Chibi Zero One Stained Glass Seriously. Although I reused the source material instead of building from zero, this project took me longer than expected due to the sheer amount of details. 😭😭😭 One thing that saved me from taking even longer time is the very fact that Zero One's design is symmetrical. I just need to flip it around and see it done. Anyway, I might use this as the entry for the upcoming Inkscape Challenge. Chibi Vulcan To complete the set with Kamen Rider 01 This is the most complex chibi I did so far. The first challenge is he's not symmetrical. If only he's split up right in the middle, it would be way easier. But it's not. The next thing is he has small details that look bad, very bad if left alone. Well, yeah. It is what it is. Chibi Ryuki To complete the set with Kamen Rider Knight His motive is Eastern Dragon. He's the first rider with full blown dragon motive. Technically his direct predecessor, Kamen Rider Agito, also used dragon motive. But it's way more subtle. Chibi Ninja Wanted to make ninja suit that shows the eyes, but it looks bad I ended up with visor. The body armor is unknowingly inspired by Kamen Rider Kuuga Mighty Form. Guess I like Kuuga that much, huh. Chibi Kamen Rider Knight A commission work for EFerryday (I don't know what his Instagram account is 😂😂😂) After seeing my Zero One chibi, he got interested and put an order for his favorite Rider, Kamen Rider Knight from Kamen Rider Ryuki (2002). For westerners, you might know him better as Kamen Rider Wing Knight from Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, a US adaptation of KR Ryuki. Kamen Rider Ryuki is one of the oddest Kamen Rider series ever. It started the trend of using collectibles (in form of Advent Decks and Advent Cards) in battle. Besides that, it also has 3 or 4 different endings so you can choose whichever ending you like the most. As for the series' ending, the main character actually gives you big surprise in the end.
