psa: i never started this up again but i should because winter is coming and i already feel the chub

i’m gonna start calorie counting again next week. this is it. this is my formal commitment. i’ve taken a break for the last couple months or so cause i plateaued and my body started doing weird things but i can feel myself getting heavy again and i don’t like it. IT’S TIME.

I haven’t been on here in a million years but if you want an update on my life, here it goes:

1. i’m hella broke and got a new job serving at a restaurant by my house so if you wanna come throw money at me in the form of tips come thru (but make those tips like 500% cause we pool them ok ok ok)

2. i don’t hate my job but I’m not getting a lot of hours right now and yet somehow I feel like I never leave work?? my mom just had a hysterectomy and she’s recovering from surgery so I’ve been helping take care of her at home and 90% of that involves making and delivering food straight to her and I love her but pls stop texting your meal orders to me

3. did you know you can get schwaaaaasted at earls on a Tuesday night with your coworkers while watching the Asian couple behind you alternate between sloppily making out and taking shame breaks for three whole hours and only have to pay $20 for the whole experience???? what a world

4. i’ve bought four new phone cases in the last month. the first one broke and I honestly didn’t care because the holes were all too small for any of my chargers or headphone jacks, the second one arrived ALREADY SNAPPED IN HALF IN THE MAIL, and the third one snapped literally as I was in the process of trying to remove it to show my friend the weird way I broke my phone when I first got it and didn’t have a case which was the experience that made me paranoid about always having a good phone case IN THE FIRST PLACE

tl;dr my life’s been weird and mildly annoying but at least I’m getting paid kind of

also if you wanna hook me up with a second job hit a girl up ✌🏽

remind me not to get pulled in by those one pot pasta recipes ever again smh. I just made mac and cheese and it tastes fine flavour-wise, but cooking pasta in anything but water gives it a weird texture that I am not about 👎🏽

How its off-topic to ask Japanese living in Japan about white-washing (aka just me rambling random things)

There was a video on how Japanese view “whitewashing Asian roles”, and most people in the video are overall positive about it. And the comments were like, “Japanese people are decent! they aren’t dumb as those nosy Americans who hates Scarlet Johansson for being a good actress”

Well…thats because in Japan, the Japanese, the Asians are the majority. We aren’t the ones who are discriminated, unless we go abroad we never face racism. For us, if Hollywood gave a Japanese character’s role to a pretty white woman, we just think “That might be better for Western society to accept Japanese pop culture. She looks cool. Nice”

The real people who is coping all the discrimination are the Asians who actually live in America, Europe, the people who are in the minority. I’m not saying we aren’t related. Its just that they are the ones who need to be payed attention to, the people that get the end of the stick for being not-white in a White Society.
