Working Out. An update.

Here’s what I have been up to the last ...year. (eaagh) Basically, I’ve been looking up patterns and then modifying them to create my own [specific ones] for the costume. This is a basic look at the process.

Contrary to what it may seem, we’ve been quite busy on the cosplay front as 2016 Con Season gets underway.  Expect some process posts in the near future including a first foray into resin casting (for the blinker stone) and how to make invisible footwear.

Apparently the unofficial theme of my @emeraldcitycomicon cosplay this year was “no shoes* are comfiest shoes”

Went to Sakura-Con and found my motivation! I HAVE RETURNED!!! WWZD? Train. Train harder. WWSD? Cook. Cook better. WWUD? Run away. Keep trying. WWND? Get money. Get MORE money. WWFD? Be enthusiastic. Enthusiastically cry. There’s more, I’m sure. But they’re all pretty good rules of thumb for Adulting...

Protip: If two ladies come into your hardware store inquiring about metal-cutting services, don’t ask if it’s “because you don’t want to use power tools?”  No.  It’s because we do not have the budget nor the storage capacity for said devices.  Other than that, it was a lovely, productive day of research.

Acquired a planner for Project Sister/Sister.  This just got real.
